Negative experience: Switched to automatic and failed to tell manual driving customers just dropped us! AVOID AVOID AVOID he has ignored my messages regarding what is happening with our lessons for our son with an impending test date which tooks months to get this is totally unprofesional considering we have spent £640 on lessons DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LOOK FOR A MORE RELAIBLE CONSIDERATE INSTRUCTOR THAT DOESNT SIT ON HIS PHONE THE WHOLE LESSON AND FILL UP WITH FUEL ON LESSON TIME AFTER ARRIVING LATE!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Roccus is a great instructor, has taught me the correct procedures of driving on the road and manoeuvre’s which I’ve been able to take away and apply aswell in private practice. Does also work on what areas your weak at and explains why - Roccus makes sure to cover these in lessons so it’s not forgotten and you’ve corrected it.

Fantastic experience: Roccus has incredible way of teaching. All the lessons i have been taken was wonderful and refreshing!! He has good patience and supportive behaviour as he really knows how to motivate his students. All the driving manoeuvres, i would say i made mistakes initially when I did by my own, but after his instruction and guidance i was able to carry out all the manoeuvres without any mistake. Roccus has been a calm and thoughtful tutor throughout my lessons. I passed in first attempt. I would highly recommend him.

Negative experience: Booked lessons for my wife with Rockus and after a while he started arriving late for most lessons but usually only by ten minutes or so, we didn’t mind as it’s difficult these days to get lessons. Then after around 20 hours of lessons he increased his prices to which again we did not complain. He then told us he was going abroad for a month and cannot do any lessons until he returns which is totally frustrating and not professional as he has taken money to teach and then before he’s got my wife up to a reasonable standard he’s literally undoing all the effort and any gains she’s made but yet again we didn’t complain, instead I booked a date before he goes and a date for when he returns. He confirmed and all was as well as can be. The last straw was him messaging us two days before to tell us he cannot fit her in as he has a tight schedule! I made it clear it was totally unacceptable as it was arranged two weeks prior. He was not interested so I told him we do not need his services any longer. Unfortunately, a lot of driving instructors are trying to capitalise off of Covid and are inflating their prices and along with it providing a poor service. This was our experience especially here in Yate and going forward we will book lessons in Bristol as there’s a lot more professional instructors at competitive prices. This was our experience and am not trying to exaggerate or offend. May be we were the exception and most have a good experience but this is ours. According to the DVSA, the average cost of lessons for south west England is £24 per hour. We were paying £34 per hour in Yate. Disappointed with your reply but I didn’t expect anything else from you. That’s what you’re about.

Fantastic experience: My experience was brilliant. Before my lesson with Anjum the driving instructor, I had 14 errors. Most of which were major observation mistakes, but the way he taught me was amazing. I just took a single lesson with him and learned alot. After taking lesson with him, I passed my driving test with just 2 minor mistakes. I’m glad that I had taken lesson with him.

Fantastic experience: During my time on an intensive course with Roccus, he was very prompt and ready to teach. Easy to understand and he always tried his best to ensure that I knew what he was explaining. Very good communication, very friendly, professional and had an excellent time on my course. Fantastic experience: Mr. Roccus is very professional and knows everything about driving. He helped me understand and worked on basics instead of just going through test routes. He is bit slow but yeah makes you ready for practical test in such a way that you pass and that's something you want.

Positive experience: Roccus was a good instructor for the first couple of months. Although I felt he tried to stall for time by talking at the side of the road and switching seats constantly, I did learn a lot and became a comfortable driver with him. It was a shame that in one lesson, he was in a very strange mood and then completely cut off contact with me afterwards. So be prepared for a lack of organisation, as sometimes he would turn up and spend the first 5 minutes of our lesson putting the stickers on his car. Luckily I have practiced on my own and passed with 0 minors. I would still recommend Roccus though as he is very patient and good at explaining things.

I was so worried about learning to drive and passing my test because I left it so late and didn't do it when I was 18 but I had nothing to worry about with Roccus. He is super experienced and knowledgeable, taking his time to really understand his students. I always thought he was very clear and thorough. He would go through the theory first and then make you drive. He never moved on from a concept without ensuring that you had really understood it. And when he thinks you're ready for your test, you will pass! I would highly recommend Roccus for any type of student wanting to learn to drive :).

In regards to lesson, I booked the intensive lessons, 12 hours and I passed first time! He was very clear in his directions, and his explanations and examples were extremely useful. Fantastic experience: Roccus has got a great knowledge of driving, and perhaps more importantly, he also provides a very relaxed, and non-judgemental atmosphere for learning. He is also by far the most patient driving instructor I have ever come across. This was great because (being a relatively slow learner), it meant that I was able to progress after each lesson at my own pace, and this allowed me to pass my test first time. He’s also got a brilliant sense of humor which adds a bit of fun to the lessons, and is always a great bonus. Overall 10/10.
