Fantastic experience: Highly recommend KSM if youre looking to learn to drive, I had Chris as my instructor and he was excellent. He made the lessons thorough and fun, and so I always looked forward to my lessons, which made the whole experience that much better and not a stressful experience at all. I passed my driving test first time all thanks to a fantastic driving instructor and will be recommending Chris to anyone who's looking to learn to drive.

Negative experience: We booked an intensive course some months in advance and where told they would do pickup/drop off in wymondham. The day before the course was due to start, after much pestering, we received timings, this informed us our daughter had to make her way to thorpe station for pickup/drop off, which was not at all convenient especially as timings where all over the place and going into the evenings. The communication from instructor and owner was very poor, unless they wanted money. Our daughters learning from her instructor was limited, he didn't wish her luck for her test or congratulate her when she passed. She passed first time because of her hard work and determination and her father's teaching.

Fantastic experience: Having just had a weeks intensive course with KSM I cannot recommend them highly enough, my instuctor kept me calm all week and reassured me when i was worrying. Brilliant company who care about there students and make sure you're fully prepared for your test by going above and beyond.

Negative experience: I recently came across some old messages I received from Shelly at KSM during my time at the school. This was in 2021, but I realised I never followed up and I wanted to raise this now rather than staying quiet so that I can hopefully prevent her treatment of pupils from continuing. Throughout the summer, she would decide which days would work for her at a moments notice (regardless of prearranged booked slots) and then cancel your lesson for the week if your schedule wouldn’t bend (ie. due to work, previous commitments, anything you had planned) to accommodate her last minute changes. Not only was she unsympathetic when I had to cancel a lesson (with 24 hours notice) due to my mother being hospitalised after suffering a TIA, she proceeded to message me frequently demanding payments whilst I was in the ward by my mother’s side, throwing what I can only describe as a tantrum about how it wasn’t fair to her. In the meantime, I was unsure about what the future would look like for my family and needless to say a driving instructor shouldn’t have been any additional cause of stress. She booked a driving test for me without asking anything about my availability first (she was aware that I was in the process of moving to university in a different city and she didn’t check if I would even be on the right side of the country at the time) and then demanded me to pay her for the test that I DIDN’T ASK HER TO BOOK. The anxiety she caused me during the lessons has made me avoid learning to drive since, as I do not want to face another instructor like her. She was judgemental, obnoxious, sarcastic and condescending and would make belittling remarks about me, my ability to drive and my family’s circumstances - being in a car with her for hours at a time is not only uncomfortable, but frankly unacceptable and she took advantage of my age and anxiety with fear-mongering and arrogance. I was too young to know I was entitled to raise a complaint at the time, and looking back I am appalled at her lack of empathy or professionalism. The other instructors at KSM may be great, but I would personally never recommend the school and definitely not Shelly. My experience was awful, save your money or go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great teacher, I passed first time. I had Kylie as an instructor who helped me. I enjoyed my lessons and I highly recommend her for anyone learning to drive!

Fantastic experience: I learned and passed with Kylie as my instructor. She's an excellent teacher, clearly experienced, as well as informative and patient. KSM is possibly the best driving school in the area, having also used Chilled Driving Tuition previously I can say that the quality of CDT is nowhere near that of KSM.

Fantastic experience: Would like to say a huge thanks to KSM and Pete who was my instructor for the week he’s teachings helped me pass my driving test with only 35 hours of intense driving and I smashed it with only 2 faults. KSM are a really nice group of people and they got back to me very quickly about my course too.

Fantastic experience: Straight away from booking my intensive Kylie made me feel calm and excited. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going with KSM for learning how to drive. I have just past my test after learning with Pete, this past year, I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience I’ve had throughout my journey. Pete is calm and collected and helps you feel confident in what you do, sees nothing bad if making mistakes (that’s how we learn at the end of the day) And praises the things you do well. He has never had me feeling stupid or incapable. Or lost his temper, or anything like that! He was exactly the kind of person I needed to teach me. He does intensive corses as well as lesson by lesson.

Fantastic experience: Having completed my PDI training with Kylie, I can only express how brilliant at instructor training she is. Kylie genuinely cares, and her support throughout the whole process is fantastic. She explains every subject with great, easy to understand detail. There is never a silly question. She is always there when you need her. I completed my training and qualified as an ADI. I would recommend Kylie as a trainer to anyone wanting to train as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: After calling over 20 instructors that couldn't fit me in before my already 3 times rebooked test date, I was ready to give up and move my test back for the forth time. I happened to see Pete parked up in his KSM driving school car. I asked if he was able to help me out, and with out missing a beat, he checked his availability and booked me in for a lesson just 3 days later. Throughout my lessons, Pete was calm and informative helping me to easily understand what I got wrong, and how to fix my issues. He was also very accomodating to my time constraints. The car was always clean and a pleasure to drive being very forgiving to the learner, making the journey from learner to driver nice and smooth. My first attempt at obtaining a licence was hampered by the lockdown, and I went through 3 instructors with only one test to show for a lot of time and money. KSM got me to my liance quickly and at a reasonable cost. KSM Diving Tuition gets my highest recommendation. Thank you

Fantastic experience: We were lucky enough to have Kylie teaching our son to drive and the experience has been fantastic! Kam has learnt to drive and passed his test in under 20 hours! She has been so fantastic throughout the whole process and had our son feeling so confident about his test and his driving. I only wish this we had known about this wonderful company when my daughters learned to drive and I will be recommending them to everyone!
