Fantastic experience: Kevin Allen was my C1 license instructor and he did an amazing job teaching me how to drive a vehicle much larger than my tiny little hyundai i10. He is very knowledgeable and calm whilst out on the road, and because of his instructing I managed to pass my c1 first time. Thank you for everything Kevin!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my HGV class 2 (C) licence all thanks to Wallace School of Transport. They guide you through the whole process from start to finish. From helping you with the paperwork to apply for your provisional licence, arranging a doctor to pass your medical, providing you with online learning tools to help you pass both your large vehicle driving theory test as well as your hazard perception test but most importantly of all providing a top notch driving instructor to guide you through the practical driving test. My instructors name was Simon. Although I have been driving as an occupational for 30 years it soon became apparent that I had slipped into very bad habits. Simon had his work cut out with me to be honest. But he is very experienced, patient (when needed) yet straight to the point.This mix of understanding and "tough love" is the reason that I have passed my driving test and have new opportunities open to me for the rest of my working life (not to mention a decent pay rise). If you are looking for a driving school to get you through your HGV driving test then I can't recommend Wallace School of Transport highly enough and Simon being a number one instructor. Thank you Simon.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic training from start to finish. Great communication from the office staff and let me know where and when I needed to be for theory/hazard perception and CPC tests. The online info was easy to use and helped with revision. Fantastic experience: I completed my five day Class 2 training at Slough thanks to instructor Pat Brosnan. Pat is a great instructor helping me improve during the course step by step to pass my test first time. I'm very happy with Wallace and hope to return to carry out my Class 1 training.

Fantastic experience: My trainer was Pat, there is no such thing as a 'Guarantee Pass' but if you listen to everything Pat says it is as close as your going to get.

Negative experience: First they have been amazing to sign up with them and pay my deposit but a week later I called for booking dates and customer service was awful the lady I spoke with name Halen she answered my call and telling me what do I want because she is on another call busy so I said it's OK finish your other call and speak with me so she did but but was rude very loud. I asked for dates she said they will call me and hanged up on me so I called again as I didn't get enough information she said I already told you just wait for a call when I been waiting for a week. Before I finish the call with Helen I asked her for her name she said Halen and hanged up the phone again.
Hi Basam, I'm sorry to hear you had difficulties speaking with Halen. Our internet connection is sometimes poor which causes our phones to drop out. (We would never hang up on you, or anyone, deliberately). Halen apologizes for appearing to shout. She's a naturally loud person at times but is not intentionally rude. I believe within a day of your call we did come back to you and that this second call was more productive, as we have now been able to confirm your future training & test dates. Please accept our sincere apologies for any distress you encountered. We are sorry to have slipped below our normally high standards of telecommunications. Regards, Ruth.
Negative experience: I had lessons for B+E Trailer in August 2020. My instructor was professional, but extremely impersonal. I think that when you spend 10 hours one on one with someone it could be a much more comfortable experience if there is a small amount of 'small talk' mainly to be polite. I am sure that the instructor had personal issues at the time as I noticed him on his phone texting frantically a lot when i didn't require his full attention (practising reversing etc), this didn't bother me necessarily but i suppose it could explain why he was so uninterested in anything other than getting the lessons done. The state of the vehicle and lack of COVID-19 precautions really was a disgrace. The training vehicle had quite clearly not been cleaned in a long time. No hand sanitiser or other measures were presented, and only when i asked for some wipes did i find a pack of baby wipes under the seat. I was given old gloves to use when hitching up, i declined as there was no way that they had been washed. I really think that in an industry where two people are sharing a confined space for such a long time that an effort should have been made to suggest that Wallace school of transport cared about their staff & customers safety.
Congratulations on Passing First Time. Often customers don't want 'small talk' so instructors can focus on their training and achieving high Pass Rates. We agree PPE is important. Our Joining Instructions give reminders about bringing own mask & disposable gloves when training. Thank you for your vigilance. We will continue to replace PPE supplies when running low and redouble our efforts to ensure stocks of sanitiser gel and anti-bac/anti-virus wipes are always topped-up . Fantastic experience: Very good and professional instructors. The training vehicles are fairly new as well. I would definitely recommend this place for HGV driver training.

Fantastic experience: Passed my cat C first time with Wallace at Slough,extremely friendly staff from very start when I was booking my week course to the actual training from my instructor Jamie. Very helpful and plenty of advice which prepared me for my test. Would highly recommend to anyone who wanted there licence.
