Fantastic experience: An amazing and friendly driving instructor who was extremely patient with me from the very start, as in the beginning I didn’t even know how to move off. After failing my first test, Evan helped me gain my confidence again and made sure I went back to standard. When I was driving he always gave me advice which definitely helped me for my test and made me remember things a lot easier. He was always on time for my lessons, doing his best to fit my schedule around his and I can’t thank him enough for everything, the way he taught me will stick with me forever. Fantastic experience: If you're looking for an amazing driving instructor then well done, you've found one! Stop reading this comment and go and book yourself in with Evan immediately! He is super patient and so easy to talk to which is a definite need when you're scared to even sit in the driver's seat! He was completely fine with taking things very slowly in the beginning because I was terrified and adamant I would never drive a car. He knows when to push you and how to get the best out of you. He was always early for my lessons and so flexible with booking lessons in. He really does do everything he can to support you even if it means him working on the weekends because your test is coming up and you're thinking of chickening out. I could write an essay on how brilliant Evan is as an instructor, I'm pretty much halfway there tbh. So don't do yourself an injustice just get yourself booked in! Thank you so, so much Evan! Definitely didn't believe I would pass first time, I'm still getting over it!

Fantastic experience: I began learning with Evan in 2019. After being with another instructor for three years prior to that and not moving any closer to my test I decided to change instructor. Happy to say that after 3 years I finally passed my test last week. Evan has the patience of a saint and is by far one of the best instructors around. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Evan!

Fantastic experience: Evan is a fantastic driving instructor. He is easy to get along with and is always very accommodating. He always manages to work his schedule around yours never mind how busy he is. I tried to learn to drive years ago with a different instructor and couldn’t seem to grasp anything, however learning with Evan was a different experience entirely. Evan will tailor the lessons to what you want to learn and will work to come up with ways of doing manoeuvres that suits you. He is very supportive and clear in the way he teaches and is very patient. He is always very organised and arrived early to every lesson. I cannot fault his commitment and teaching, and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I want to begin by saying, Evan is an outstanding driving instructor. Every lesson he is always 10 minutes minimum early and always provides top quality lessons. Whether that be tackling manoeuvres, to driving through difficult roads. He is an extremely genuine person who I would suggest to anyone who is looking to learn how to drive. I would also like to add, no matter the situation, he always manages to fit you into his calendar never mind how busy he is. Therefore, if you’re looking for a driving instructor, Evan is 1000000% the person you should choose to go with as he is clearly committed in providing people with the confidence and skills on how to drive well, and most importantly, safely.

Fantastic experience: I should start by saying Evan is an exceptional driving instructor. Each lesson he has always arrived early and has collected me from multiple places that are convenient for me at the time. His flexibility is great and always managed to fit me in even during his busiest times. Since driving with Evan, he has always been very professional and very clear in the way he teaches. He has some excellent techniques for teaching you to drive safely and efficiently; and uses some very good 'metaphors' to explain things that are hard to understand (The clutch is like a tap!). I've overall had a VERY pleasant experience with Evan, while he is very professional in the way he teaches he is also a super nice (and funny) guy and I will miss my lessons with him! If you're in the Caerphilly area and looking for a good driving instructor, Evan has my backing 1000000%.

Fantastic experience: Amazing driving instructor! Contacted Evan after my previous instructor sadly passed away before COVID hit - but he soon had me back up to speed. Great patience, very clear structure to each lesson (e.g. what we were focusing on within that lesson), very organised and always arrived min. 10 mins early to each lesson and offered flexible lessons to fit in with your own schedule. Evan was willing to work extra hours over the Christmas break to help me prepare for my test in January whilst I was home from uni - and today I passed first time! Couldn’t recommend him highly enough, for any level of learner driver.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test today with Evan, how express enough how helpful and professional he is. I had no experience whatsoever with driving or anything about it and from the get go, everything was explained fully and if I didn’t understand then it was totally okay. Even with the lockdowns Evan would text and make me aware of changes with the government with driving lessons etc. Super helpful when it came to my theory test and calmed & reassured me when it came to my driving test! He is calm, attentive, and puts a massive focus on improving weaker parts of your driving ultimately leading to you being more confident in your ability to drive. He also makes sure that you are comfortable and well equipped to handle all situations so that you can actually drive, rather than just passing a test. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Evan highly enough. Learning to drive has always been something I wanted to do. However, I was always held back by fear. At 33 I finally decided enough was enough and started lessons with Evan. At first I was a nervous wreck doing basically anything in the car but Evan showed amazing patience with me and my confidence started to build. Evan finds the little things in your driving that makes a massive difference. He uses easy to understand analogies to explain things and this 100% improved my driving. Evan adapts learning to you as individual and is incredibly flexible. It has been a difficult year due the pandemic with extended periods of not driving. Evan quickly managed to rebuild my confidence in driving and further improve me. His communication was superb during this period also. I can't thank Evan enough for not only getting me through the process and helping me pass my test but giving me confidence on the roads which will change my life.

Fantastic experience: After having 3 other driving instructors before Evan, I was ready to give up on driving altogether that was until when my partner recommended that I try the AA as that’s who he learnt how to drive with. From the first lesson I could tell Evan was passionate about his job as a driving instructor which stood out as a first impression. Also, when I started I was nervous driver but Evan made me feel at ease and comfortable straight away... I’m no longer an anxious driver!
