I enjoyed our many chats and humorous discussions, he’s easy to talk to and therefore puts you at ease. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for helping me on my road to independence!

Fantastic experience: I passed my test with Stephen Croucher, his excellent teaching methods made me feel comfortable and confident meaning I was able to pass my test just a month after my first lesson! I wouldn’t change anything about my learning experience, 100% recommend!!

Negative experience: Very rude on the phone, felt like he was telling me I was stupid when asking about availability. Also, very unprofessional as he slated other driving schools. Very expensive too!

Fantastic experience: I went with Williams driving school after leaving another as I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere. I learned to drive with Kev and he is the best instructor I could ever have asked for, he always had faith in me and made me feel at ease in all my lessons. I started driving with Kev at the beginning of January 2022 and passed my theory and practical by the end. This is the best driving school to go with, I can’t recommend them enough.

Negative experience: does the instructor who was driving on his own in the blue 69 plate Clio think its acceptable to break check a young motorcyclist, good job said motorcyclist gave himself enough room.

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to James for my refresher driving lesson to help me regain my driving confidence after suffering an accident. He was very professional and calm, full of encouragement all through the lesson. I feel very reassured and am so much more confident after the lesson so feel I will now to be able to drive again. I highly recommend him and will not hesitate to contact again if needed.

Fantastic experience: Marc helped me to smash the driving test in one stroke. I did the test in a completely different town, but Marc helped me to get familiar with that town before the test.

Fantastic experience: I learnt to drive with Guy Parfitt and he is a fantastic instructor! I passed my practical test yesterday and I highly recommend learning with him. He is a really nice bloke, he’s great at putting you at ease and very patient. He is also the first instructor that gave me the self confidence that I could tackle my nerves about driving and reach my goal of passing my test.

Fantastic experience: Dave was an outstanding instructor. He is very serious about safety and ensuring the successful passing of the driving test. When I made the same mistake more than once, Dave made me do it over and over until I got it right. He quietly and professionally guided me through the entire process. Fantastic experience: Today the unthinkable happened - I passed my driving test first time. Fantastic experience: I hadn't driven for 10 years so booked refresher lessons, Anna my instructor was absolutely amazing, she was patient and restored my confidence. She got me driving to the places I would likely be going, and for the first time since I passed my test I drove on the motorway. I used to feel physically sick at the thought of driving which is why I stopped. I can't thank Anna enough, I have a new lease of life!

Fantastic experience: I wanted a female instructor so I used Williams driving school because they had a female instructor who had good reviews. Claire was easy to talk to and to get alone with and I always felt comfortable around her! Because they are based in Torquay I didn’t think they would take me because I live in Dawlish but they did and I even did my test in Exeter! Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I chose Williams driving school from seeing there success rate in passes and reviews online. I had previously had around 10 hours with a different company a couple of years before but felt as though I was getting no where with them. Dave made me feel very confident on the road and even helped me find my first car that I’m now driving confidently on the road after passing second time! Fantastic experience: Thanks to Dave and his brilliant Knowledge and teaching, I managed to pass my test today after a driving assessment to begin with then 4 lessons after and not driving for 6-7 months. He is calm, mellow and a really good instructor and goes through everything with you in a clear understanding way and is also a good laugh. Fantastic experience: I managed to pass my driving test first time with Mike and got only two driving faults, I definitely recommended Williams driving school and to go with Mike, he makes you feel relaxed and calm while driving around. If you are stuck on something or you don’t understand something he will go over it until you understand, also when you do something wrong he will tell you what you did well and he will tell you what to do to improve it for when you do it again.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test under the guidance of Marc Rosindale from Williams Driving School. He was a really relaxed instructor who walked me through everything I needed to know, I felt relaxed in the car and had some good jokes whilst learning. He helped me from the basics all the way up to where I am now and I really appreciate it. One of the best things about Marc is how he adapts the teaching to suit his student. it's not the same for all and that is really helpful to encourage every pupil. I would highly recommend Marc because he's fun, relaxed and good at what he does. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Fantastic, Marc my instructor was amazing from my first lesson we took our time and worked on areas I was not comfortable with, I was continually guided and my confidence just grew and grew and my driving improved every lesson Marc was fantastic and if I was nervous would always make me laugh it didn’t feel like he was only my instructor but he was as also a Freind and would always give advice when I needed it and was always easy to contact to book a lesson. I took my test two days ago and passed 1st time with only 6 minors I’m over the moon would not think twice about recommending Williams driving school and Marc my instructor once again Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Having previously driven up country I was nervous with learning in a new area, but was put at ease from lesson one. I took lessons with Greg Braund... he was a fantastic teacher, very relaxed and easy going, and made things super simple and easy to remember. Very professional! I did quite a bit of research online, reading reviews etc., before choosing a driving instructor, and chose Williams Driving School based on the reviews. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable, professional experience while learning to drive!

He very quickly indentified my weaknesses and focused lessons accordingly. He was also incredibly flexible with lesson times and went the extra mile to ensure I could do lessons around my full time working hours, and allowed me to do lessons in my own car. Fantastic experience: Fantastic driving school. I had a bad experience with another local driving school and was put off driving for a long time. I started manual lessons with Anna Wood at Williams, Anna is a lovely lady with great teaching skills and a very reassuring manner and made learning a pleasure, my lessons were both challenging and fun! My circumstances changed whilst learning so I switched to automatic lessons and took an intensive course with Guy Parfitt. Guy is a lovely man with a calm manner and is very easy to get along with, he really knows his stuff and his car is a dream to drive. My nerves about changing transmission were quickly quelled and I picked up Guy's methods in no time. I highly recommend Williams Driving School for both manual and automatic lessons, especially if you are particularly nervous like I was when my journey began. A big thankyou to both Guy and Anna, my days will be so much easier now!!

Fantastic experience: My instructor Rodel has been fantastic. He always gave me clear instructions and advice to improve on my driving. Moreover, he was very helpful in offering very flexible hours for the lesson such as the evening and during the weekend. I would definitely recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I was very indecisive on who to go with as I couldn’t quite find the right driving instructor, I eventually decided to go with Williams Driving School as my third instructor after hearing from a work colleague how good they were and my instructor, Rodel, was amazing. He built up my confidence massively and was very patient with me. Also being able to do driving lessons after work was a massive help, thank you Rodel for helping me pass!

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with Williams Driving School's approach to teaching and working with new and young drivers. My instructor, Greg, was an absolute pleasure to drive with, very friendly and effective in his teaching methods. Due to this I managed to pass easily first time after 3.5- 4 months of driving with very little prior experience. Since the lessons covered a large number of situations and made the most of the time I had, it's saved me hundreds of pounds by being able to pass and become a confident save driver in a short time. Many thanks to Greg Braund and Dave Williams for all their hard work and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I found out about Williams Driving School on google. I enjoyed every minute of my lessons even on the days I felt I didn’t do as well as I could of. My instructor Guy was the main reason for me passing my test he was confident in me and ensured we did everything enough to enable me the confidence to drive and put me in for my test. I passed my test first time with only 3 minors and that is from all the hard work Guy and I put into my lessons. He made me feel at ease and nothing was ever too much. Fantastic experience: I chose to learn with Williams driving school after them being recommended to me by my boyfriend who passed after only 7 lessons! Rodel (the driving instructor) was very patient and always helped me to do my best. Williams is a really great driving school. Rodel really helped me excell with my driving. He gave me constructive criticism and was honest with me. Booking lessons was very easy and so was the payment for the lessons which to be honest I didn’t expect. He was also confident in me which gave me the boost I needed at times. He also helped me gain confidence where it was needed most and was very friendly and welcoming from the first lesson onwards. Definitely would recommend Rodel and Williams driving school to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I have passed my test today, first Time! :) The service I recieved is outstanding, Marc my instructor that showed me the ropes is brillant, he supported me and got me were I needed to be today... It's been an emotional ride whilst I was learning to drive, but I got there in the end due to Marc and his teaching techniques... I would recommend anybody that is looking to learn to drive now and in the future to contact Williams Driving school, as I did, I only found them by searching on Facebook book and reading the great reviews and pass rates... There real by the way for anybody that thinks any differ... Fantastic experience: For some people driving comes naturally, for me it definitely didn't! Learning to drive was probably the hardest psychological battle I have ever faced and on Wednesday 15 November 2017, I passed my test first time which is something i NEVER thought would happen! I learnt with Marc Rosindale of Williams Driving School and I cannot recommend them enough! Everytime I got upset, angry or on the verge giving up, they got me through it! I never felt judged, or silly for getting so upset, Marc managed to turn my tears of sadness into tears of joy! Don't look for any other driving school, go here :D Thanks again Marc!

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would get round to learning to drive. I was incredibly lucky to get the lovely Ian Lynn. He was very kind and agreed to come out to Ashburton for each lesson, and get me driving. What was brilliant was that before I was taught anything new, he explained why each thing was needed and how it worked. I ended up with a huge base of knowledge and confidence. I failed first time round, but that was nerves and no reflection on Ian’s teaching skills. I nailed it today and now have a licence. I owe Ian huge thanks for being patient, kind and a very good teacher. I have also gained a friend.

Fantastic experience: Learnt with Rodel who was a brilliant instructor, so patient and attentive. I started my lessons when I was 17 and stopped, then this year (3 years later), started them again and it was a lot harder than anticipated but glad I had rodel to support me. I finally passed yesterday with 3 minors, highly recommend!

I was incredibly nervous about the whole concept of driving but Dave' structured lesson plans coupled with his outgoing personality allowed me to actually enjoy driving lessons and pass first time with only 3 minors. Fantastic experience: I booked some lessons with WILLIAMS after a family member passed their test with them a few months previously. It became clear early on that I would find driving a challenge, but instructor Dave always remained patient and offered reassurance.
