Fantastic experience: I started learning to drive with Tymek with no prior experience of driving. On the first lesson I was already on the dual carriageway. I experienced such intensive yet satisfying progress and because of his fantastic guidance I was able to pass my driving test first time. Tymek is fantastic at not only teaching you to drive but also in teaching you how to calm your nerves and persevere through uncomfortable situations.

I know without a doubt, I would not have gotten this far with you, Tymek. I am forever grateful to you for pushing me until I got it all. Learning how to drive can be incredibly taxing emotionally and mentally, but this guy will get you through it all. He's the best.

Fantastic experience: I started learning with Tymek as I needed to be able to drive for my new job. After working with another teacher before the pandemic but having to stop early I was pretty hesitant to start learning again. I only had a few months until I needed to drive to work, but Tymek was great at both accommodating this. He offered multiple lessons a week and at weekends, and made me feel comfortable driving for my early morning commute. He will always go on about how he's trying to make you a driver, not just get you to pass the test, and he is correct. The amount he expects from you is a lot, and he will be harsh, but whenever he is you probably deserve it. By the end of my time with him the test became a joke, with me passing with only 2 faults. Overall I would highly recommend Tymek if you want to learn to drive. Even though the lessons are long hours and you will get thrown in to difficult situations from your very first lesson, it is all worth it. By the end of your time with him you will be a confident and safe driver.

Fantastic experience: I’d passed my test back in 2009, however I had never owned a car or driven since then, given the large gap in driving I was quite nervous to get back to it and sought out an instructor. I’d contacted a few that had popped up in google search results but had been turned away due to them being full, it was on the government website I happened to see Tymek and decided to contact him after searching him and reading the glowing reviews, he was able to slot me in despite a very busy schedule. In the first lesson he quickly noted many of my faults and things that had changed from the time I had passed, notable the steering technique I had been shown. It became quickly evidence that I was a lot more rusty than I first thought, but none-the-less he was able to get me quickly back on the road. Each lesson would have a main focus such as steering, parking, and my nemesis: roundabouts, along with other general driving issues as we went around in order to improve my general awareness such as mirror usage. The lessons also took me around a varied selection of places rather than just test and local routes to give a well rounded driving experience. A selection of eclectic music and interesting conversations (got some great recommendations for Polish food) make the 3 hours fly by. So now I am able to safely get on a road and go to all the places that would’ve been a lot harder to reach before. Thanks Tymek!

Fantastic experience: I have fairly severe sensory processing disorder and when I first considered learning to drive, I half expected to have to try a few instructors; that didn't happen. When I actually started driving, I expected my learning to stall; that also didn't happen. I was noticeably better by the end of every lesson until I took and passed my 1st test. I developed my problem solving skills outside of driving. Within 1.5 hours, Tymek was better at spotting my signs of stress than me and almost always not only prevented it from reaching boiling point, but also almost always was the key factor in settling those nerves in new situations. Tymek is a great driving instructor and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Well, what can I say thanks to tymek I finally have my freedom! As a mother of 2 I've relied on my husband to take us everywhere! After previously using 2 other instructors and a manual car and never ever feeling ready for a test I gave up! Then I finally decided enough was enough and made the jump to automatic and found Tymek. I wish I'd done it 6 years ago!! From the first lesson tymek made me laugh, relaxed and confident. What on earth I'm going to do with out the wonderfully delicious tea he supplied I don't know! Tymek is not your run of the mill instructor by a long mile, he will tell you straight how it is but if you want to challenge him hes all ears. If you're looking for an instructor to actually teach you how to drive and not just to pass a test then tymek is the right person for you! He doesn't just take you up and down the test route he takes you to complex roundabouts. He teaches you how to plan ahead and be a confident safe driver. I passed my test in Gloucester something I never would've dreamed of being able to do before i met tymek. He really is a fantastic driving instructor I'd recommend him to anyone, yes he's one of the more expensive instructors but he is absolutely worth every penny!! The day of my test it finally got too much and I had a little break down, I was making silly mistakes and we both knew it was nerves. Tymek made sure I parked safely and gave me a tissue, I definitely needed it. Then he said now forget about it it's done let's go, I went and passed with 3 minors. Thank you so much tymek.

Fantastic experience: Tymek is an incredible instructor! He is very easy to get along with, has a great sense of humor and the conversation never stops. Tymek can be tough at times and challenge you but it’s always to improve your driving. For me I would always overcomplicate and overthink driving leading to mistakes, Tymek would then ask me to pull up, allow me to talk through what had happened and give me advice then proceed to say ‘keep it simple stupid’. His whole approach is teaching people not only to pass the test but also how be a confident, safe and independent driver after. Tymek didn’t just teach me test routes but taught me to drive on complex roads, roundabouts, dual-carriageways and even the motorway. A big plus of learning to drive with Tymek was it was always fun and every lesson was somewhere new; I was able to drive in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Swindon(Magic roundabout), Forest of Dean and many more. Thanks to Tymek, I was able to pass my test first time with no faults. I’d highly recommend him for any learner driver as Tymek gives 100% when teaching.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Tymek I have just passed my driving test with zero faults. There’s many things to say about Tymek, the lovely cups of his wife’s tea, his eclectic music playlist, his sense of humour and excellent chat but I think the thing that makes me more glad to recommend him than anything else is how much he cares and roots for your success. There were times I referred to him as more of a life guru, with some Mr Miyagi (the wax on wax off way to get onto a roundabout) and Rafiki (forget about what is in the past) wisdom. I learnt not only about how to drive but also owning own confidence and comfort in that confidence- which is vital for being a safe driver. I can be an anxious and emotional person and cried in more lessons than I’d like to admit but Tymek responded with kindness and humour which I am very thankful for. It’s not your cheapest or certainly not your most run of the mill way to learn- the lessons are long- but having that time put in has given me the confidence to do longer drives (which I need to for work). Tymek is honest, straightforward and has a lot of love for life and others, so a great choice for a driving instructor. Any time I doubted the process, when I relaxed back into it, that’s when I succeeded. Thank you Tymek, sorry for always accidentally stealing your spare sunglasses. Fantastic experience: Well what I can say! Tymek is an amazing driving instructor, yes he is expensive but so worth it. Top A* instructor, I had a pleasent experience throughout and very much enjoyable, me and Tymek got on just well, he wanted the best for me and at times it's hard as he made me do things 30 times in a row to get the swing of something like for eg car positioning but honestly so so worth it to really make me a good driver. Now I feel confident and comfortable on the road. I like Tymeks professional and honest approach and he is a friendly straightforward type of guy so that's what I needed to be my side doing those 4 hour a day rides. Initially I had been really anxious about driving but before letting me take the driving test he got me to drive to both Bristol and Swindon, to do the magic roundabout. Fantastic experience: Brilliant guy. When i first approached him i had a test booked he told me first he will test me. If i am to the standard of his like he will make me priority otherwise he won’t. He kept his word. But he is a bit hard to please. What makes him different from others is he will teach you how you should drive everyday not just for test. He will take you outside Gloucester. He will make you sweat in the complex roundabouts. And if you have time and he is satisfied he will take you to Bristol as the final touch. He is a bit expensive I always tell him that but totally worth it. Definitely recommend him. PS: He has got a good sense of humour.

Fantastic experience: Wow, I haven't seen an instructor like KISS, He is a teacher, adviser and a mentor. I have tried other instructors and almost gave up till I mate you. You said to me after narrating my bad experience with other instructors, I will work you through and you will pass your practical test, and you did exactly as you said. Keep up the great job. I am now a happy man with my pass certificate given to me.

Fantastic experience: A feature of Tymek's approach is that he does not just teach driving according to the rules and prepares for the exam, but teaches you to understand and analyse the situation on the road. These skills will be useful in practice. The learning process itself seemed simple, but effective. We quickly corrected the errors that appeared and prepared for the exam. I passed the test on the 1st attempt with only one minor mistake, which I consider an excellent result for myself ;)

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Tymek and KISS Driving School enough. I started lessons with another instructor almost 4 years ago and was left feeling that I would never be a safe and confident driver. I was only ever taken around Monmouth and as Tymek would say “chasing the boar in the forest”. Whilst being familiar with the area is important for the test, you cannot learn to drive properly in such a small place. I quit lessons while away at university and constantly worried that I wouldn’t ever be a safe driver. You do not need to worry about this with Tymek, he will push you to do things you may think would never be possible. On my first lesson I was driving into Gloucester and tackling difficult junctions, roundabouts and the motorway in just a few hours. His teaching style and personality is sometimes on the stern side but he absolutely knows how to get the job done, ensuring that when you pass your test you will be a safe and confident driver for life. I had a few wobbles and some terrible drives on the way, but Tymek was able to rebuild my confidence and courage to continue learning and trust that I could become a real driver. In short, if you want to become a driver give Tymek a ring now (he’s a very busy man!) and don’t look back. He may be more expensive or be booked up to begin with but he will absolutely make you a driver no matter what. You will not find a better instructor.

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor but I can straight away say his way of teaching is not for everyone, because you need to have some “balls” to go driving at magic roundabout and Bristol!!! Even me in the middle of our lessons had a moment of a little give up… but I’m so glad I didn’t give up and continued learning. Because he really helped me to grow those “balls” hahah sorry for my language but I truly was so panicking and not believing in myself. He doesn’t only teach you to pass the test and I can strongly agree with all the reviewers before, he makes you a confident driver. Sometimes all we need is to believe in ourselves. I was good at learning and I was fast at picking up the stuff but that hesitation and fear of driving was in my head. All I needed is that push what Tymek did give me! He helped me to understand my potential and simply believe in myself as a driver! ”Stop complicating things” He was saying all the time. And I stopped! I relaxed and practiced. That’s why I passed from the first time! If you are like me a bit anxious not believing in yourself and a little scared of driving, Tymek will definitely help you out by taking you to Bristol or magic roundabout at Swindon! And I highly recommend to take minimum of 2h lesson. If you have a chance to do more do it! I was doing 4h session and that’s why now I can say I’m not scared to drive alone because I had enough practice and driving in different locations really helped me. I know it’s a bit pricey but trust me it’s worth it. You are doing it for yourself. And also his car is absolutely amazing Thank you Tymek for you patience and I wish all your students pass test from first time.

Fantastic experience: Great! Started out with very little driving experience apart from a couple sims, and Tymek helped me go from someone who took a minute to remember how to start the car to commuting 2 hours every day with no issues whatsoever. Clear and direct.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Tymek to any learner driver which doesn’t only want to pass their test but also be a good and confident driver after their test. Even-though Tymek's prices are quite higher compared to other instructors he’s definitely worth the cost. When i first started driving with Tymek i wasn’t confident on the road but a few lessons later that confidence built up inside me thanks to Tymek's teaching. Every-time I made a mistake or wasn’t driving smooth he told me to pull up on the left and explained to me what I’ve done wrong and what to do next time in such situations along with also giving me time to reset which really helped me process everything and he tried his best to make sure I’m ready to pass my test first time. Thankyou very much Tymek I enjoyed learning to drive with you.

Fantastic experience: I found tymek after my original instructor quit and what a good find he was!! I lacked in confidence incredibly, i was doing so well then all of a sudden i lost it and a few bad lessons happend but tymek brought the best back out in me. I passed 1st time with a few faults, i cant thank tymek enough for what he has done. He hasnt just got me through my driving he has helped me to overcome my anxiety and confidence which im forever thankful for. Tymek is a great instructor and soooo easy to talk to. Fantastic experience: I first hired Tymek when I wanted to get a licence in order to drive my new van that I bought with my savings to convert into a camper. He was happy to do longer lessons of 4 hours meaning I could get to test standard as soon as possible. I was driving towards Gloucester on my very first lesson! I don't regret a single penny spent on Tymek and would do it all again just for the good conversation and laughs we had. Unfortunately, I had to take a break from lessons after the loss of my parents but he was more than helpful by being flexible and able to pick up where we left off a few months before. Now I'm on the road at 19 and couldn't be happier with my investment in Tymek!

Fantastic experience: When I first started with Tymek I was terrified of the road, I thought I’d never even get close to passing. But his firm and fair teaching style made me actually enjoy driving, I felt comfortable at the wheel whilst still being focused on getting things right. Fantastic experience: Well what can I say…..Tymek is the best of the best! I turned 17 in August last year and knew I wanted to start driving straight away and pass my test as soon as possible. My goal was to pass my test before I finished my studies in June this year so I could drive to school. I knew that because of the pandemic driving tests were only available months in advance so I booked the test before I even started my lessons. The test was booked for 22nd feb this year. I then had the issue of trying to find an instructor as all the ones I had tried were fully booked. I managed to find an instructor and subsequently had 30 hours of lessons with her. As my test was approaching, my family bought me my first car in january and I started to practice with them. They quickly picked up on some bad habits that I was doing, that I didnt even realise I was doing, such as looking at the gear stick when changing gears and driving straight over mini roundabouts. It was then I realised my instructor wasnt very good and did no preparation with me for my test, for example she had never shown me how to do an emergency stop or gone through possible show me tell me questions. She also never drove me on the busy gloucester roads (as she wasnt familiar with them) despite this being where my test was booked for. Now I was in panic mode, it was nearing the end of january and my test was fast approaching on 22nd feb, my driving instructor was not very good and I felt ill prepared for my test. Just by chance, my mum saw a kiss driving school car and looked it up online, after reading the great reviews she called Tymek and he managed to squeaze me in on 11th feb for two hours. I honestly felt like I had learned more in those two hours than the whole of the 30 hours with my previous instructor. Honestly the difference in teaching was incredible. Tymek seriously knows his stuff and he is so passionate in what he does it really shows through his teaching. When I went out in my car with my family after just the two hours with Tymek they could see a real difference in my confidence and I no longer needed to look at the gear stick when changing gears. Although he was heavily booked up, Tymek knew my test date was approaching and how desperate I was to pass, so he booked me in for a four hour session on what should have been his day off and another 4 hours on 21st feb (the day before my test). He drove me around the busy gloucester roads and covered everything needed to prepare me for the test. I then had my test the next day and passed first time with only 4 minors!!!! I couldnt believe it. I have to give full credit to Tymek as he is a very talented instructor. I only had 10 hours with Tymek but in that short time he taught me more than I had learned in the 30 hours spent with my previous instructor. If it wasnt for tymek i would not have passed. I was that impressed with Tymek’s teaching style that i booked a further 4 hour session after i passed so he could take me to the magic roundabout in Swindon to really test my confidence! I now feel so confident to drive on my own which i cannot thank tymek enough for! His teaching style is so unique and passionate, he really is the best of the best!! He may not be the cheapest but you really do get what you pay for. Do not make my mistake and go for a cheaper instructor as it ends up costing more in the long run!! Fantastic experience: Tymek was a great driving instructor, from the very beginning to the very end. The best part was that he doesn't teach you just to pass. He teaches you everything you need for the upcoming years of driving you'll be doing. Fantastic experience: To start with let’s get some things straight. Tymek it’s not a good driving instructor- he is an excellent one. He is not only extremely encouraging but most importantly he pushes you to be the best version of yourself. Instead of teaching you how to ‘pass your test’ he teaches you the skill of becoming an excellent driver and this in instself it’s the most important lesson to learn. In the end of the day it’s all about how you can handle yourself during stressful moments. I have to say - if not for Tymek I wouldn’t be able to pass my test first time. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing instructor! Dispute me having a few set backs and taking a while to teach Tymek never gave up on me, I am now a confident driver fully capable of tackling anything that comes my way. Tymek always kept up good communication with me and quickly found test slots for me. He challenged me at times and showed me that I am capable of taking on more complicated road situations than I ever thought i could. I could happily go out anywhere and know I am fully prepared for anything that is thrown at me, Tymek teaches to drive not just to pass the test. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Tymek as an instructor. He will put you at ease straight away and boost your skills and confidence as a driver throughout your time with him, so that when you pass, you are capable and confident of driving anywhere, rather than just learning how to pass the test. I passed first time, with one minor, after only having 20 hours of lessons with him in total. Tymek is also very easy to get along with and have conversations with. I had previously tried driving with two separate instructors about 4-5 years ago, but didn't enjoy the experience with either of them, so stopped after one lesson with each. I didn't feel desperate to pass my test at the time, as I was living in the centre of cities with good transport whilst carrying out my studies, so just decided to stop for a while. However, after finishing my studies and moving into the forest, it became important for me to be able to drive a car so that I could get around more easily. Originally I could only get a test booked for March next year due to the pandemic creating a massive backlog, but Tymek and KISS were also able to find and book me a much earlier test, as I was ready to take the test quickly after doing a fairly intensive course. I only started learning with Tymek in mid-November, and I took (and passed) my test on 21st December. Huge thanks to Tymek for the experience, it was very enjoyable and I feel a very confident driver already.

Fantastic experience: I used to think that becoming a driving instructor would be an impossible task but recently the process of training to become a driving instructor suddenly became a simple, easy and pleasant experience. Fantastic experience: After looking at positive reviews about Tymek I decided to give him a call. When I spoke to him, he explained how he teaches you to drive properly not just pass a test. This is very true as he taught me to drive on complex; roads, roundabouts, dual-carriageways and even the motorway rather than just going around the test routes repeatedly . When drivng Tymek gives great advice, when you mess something up, he works with you to find a way of preventing you from making the same mistakes again. Tymek helps you to stay calm even when you are driving in busy rush hour traffic and roads you are not sure of. Fantastic experience: Tymek has been an amazing instructor from the start. I have never had a lesson where I didn't learn anything that would improve me as a driver and to pass my test. I've always had it in my mind that Tymek wanted more than for me to just pass, but to be a confident and good road user. I am grateful for the time and effort that went into my driving even if it was difficult through the lockdowns, but in the end I managed to pass first time! It was great to have an instructor that would recognise what needed work without having to mention and would make it their goal as well as yours to make sure you'll always be confident in an area of driving you may not find easy. Fantastic experience: I moved to Ross a year ago from Birmingham, when I came back I decided I wanted to start learning to drive again, I decided I wanted to learn to drive in an automatic as I couldn't get along with manual back when I was 17. I came across Kiss driving school and found Tymek. One my first lesson I was nervous but within 10 minutes of being in the car I started to feel relaxed straight away. I can say I was tested a few times outside my comfort zone but this was good and helped me see I can do it when I put my mind to it. Our lessons where always a good laugh and Tymek always helped me believe in myself. I am so happy to say I Passed first time with only 1 minor. If it hadn't been for Tymek helping me to believe in myself I wouldn't be able to say I now have my own car. So if your looking for a driving instructor then i would recommend Tymek.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, Tymek has been incredible. I started off very nervous and uneasy on the road. But Tymek helped me fight these nerves and be calm on the road. By the time the test came around I knew that I was fully prepared and thankfully I passed. Tymek definitely is on the more expensive side but you will get your moneys worth, I was able to pass my test far quicker than I would have thought just in time before I go to uni. If you are looking for an instructor who is friendly but also firm and not afraid to let you know when you have made a mistake then I could not recommend Tymek enough. You will be challenged from day 1 and he will whip you into shape not just for the test but in becoming a confident driver.

Fantastic experience: Tymek has been such an amazing driving instructor to have from the beginning he pushed me to do the absolute best I can do and he will challenge you more than any other driving instructor. Whilst it was a difficult journey with many bumps along the way he guided me through it, better than anyone else could have done and believed in me even when I begin to lose hope.We had many laughs together and even a melt down or two but through it all he was patient with me and built a trust between the two of us. Under the circumstances of covid he still managed to squeeze me in lessons right before the test and I couldn't be more grateful even from the beginning many other instructors turned me away due to being 'fully booked' tymek took me on and will with anyone willing to pay the high fee of his services. Whilst he is the most expensive driving instructor in the forest he goes further and beyond any other instructor would and not only gets you ready for the test but he prepares you for real life driving. I don't believe you can find a better driving instructor than Tymek and I couldnt recommend him more. I wish you and your family the absolute best Tymek! ❤️

Fantastic experience: Tymek is a fantastic instructor he was definetly worth the money but more so than just for passing the test but for learning to be a good driver anywhere, the day after I passed I went to Gloucester with my friends and I had no nerves or problems with any situations as Tymek taught me everything a good driver should know but he also trained me on the thing I had the most nerves and issues about as well (roundabouts). It may seem daunting at first when he tells you that you'll be training in Gloucester but by learning there from the start and almost all the way up to the test really boosted my confidence and made driving in any rural area or village a piece of cake.

Fantastic experience: Would Highly recommend! With Covid and everything I had only a small window to try and learn how to drive before my test. Not only did I manage to pass but along the way was tought how to drive beyond just passing a test and had a lot of laughs and fun times. Every lesson I learned a lot, quickly and efficiently, and became much more comfortable behind the wheel. Couldn't have found a better instructor to teach me, thank you :D

Fantastic experience: I had been with two driving instructors previously and found they were both very serious and did nothing to calm my nerves. Part of me felt I wasn't cut out for driving as I would get very nervous and it would cause me to make silly mistakes. Over time, this eased a massive amount thanks to Tymek's understanding and patience. I now feel confident and happy driving in most situations. Tymek is laid back and easy going and and I genuinely don't think I would have passed my test today (with one minor fault!) if I hadn't found Tymek. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Tymek works exactly to your skills, style and issues. As someone with some prior experience he didn't waste time making me repeat actions i was already confident in down a side road, he allowed me to actually drive, which was perfect for my level. He picks up on issues and communicates with you as to why you believe they happened and instantly starts resolving them.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Tymek. After 2 years of learning, 2 failed tests and a lot of disappointment, I was desperate for someone to help me pass my upcoming test. Tymek took me on 2 weeks before my test and completely changed the way I drive. Not only did I pass my test with only 2 minors but I’m so much more confident about driving in all situations. Tymek was so understanding and supportive and pushed me to reach my full potential. He really cares about his students and teaches more than just how to pass the test. Fantastic experience: Tymek is a great instructor that helps you find what is missing in your driving . He will then help you understand your mistakes and show you the right way. He explains instead of just telling you : do as you are told. He won’t just help you pass your test, he will teach you how to drive, properly, too.

I wish I could of carried on having lesssons with him, the only reason I couldn't was because my old instructor got in contact to say that he had my test booked that had been canceled during lockdown. Fantastic experience: Tymek is a fantastic, one of a kind character and I’ve never met anyone else quite like him, but most of all he is a brilliant driving instructor as long as you put your trust in him. I never thought I would be able to drive due to severe anxiety , but thanks to him listening , understanding, and adapting to how I learn best I passed first time with only 4minors after only 3months of learning. He really does teach you to drive rather than just to pass your test , and if anything after a two hour lesson with Tymek who always pushes you to be your best, the test really isn’t that frightening. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t of asked for a more down to earth, patient, and overly talkative instructor. He really puts the student ahead of himself; prioritising a students driving skills, instead of just doing the necessary to pass the test. He always makes great conversation, and feels like more of a “mate” than an instructor. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Also makes cool tea.
