Fantastic experience: I have a lot of bad driving habits and he managed to correct those habits of mine. He is not only good and patient to me but also skillful in teaching. I believe that he can manage different types of students because of his adaptive teaching style. He's a great motivator, strict but fair during sessions. He has taught me the foundation of driving, down to the smallest detail. As long as you keep in mind what he taught, you’ll breeze through your practical test. You’ll not only learn how to drive, but most importantly you will learn to trust your own self, as he said: "Don't believe in luck, believe in your self." Fantastic experience: I needed driving lessons urgently as I needed a license for a job role that I had accepted. As you can imagine, due to COVID, test slots were rare and I only had a couple of hours so, of previous driving experience. Az worked so hard to help me reach my goal, of getting to test standard in such a short period of time. He knew what was at stake for me and even though he had other commitments and personal affairs to mange, he always made time for me and gave me lessons of great value. He understood my weaknesses and made me practice those areas until I got it correct. I had my test and I PASSED first time, even with such a tight deadline, couldn't have done it without him. Always reliable and a great teacher.

Negative experience: Rude, bad mannered and aggressive! What a waste of money. Definitely would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test today, with just a single minor. Now I can’t say It didn’t take me a while to get this pass, I have been learning to drive for about a year and I have had another instructor and taken another test. When I first met Az I thought I could drive decently, but he took me out for a drive and he told me that there were a lot of mistakes in my driving. I wasn’t expecting this nor did I want to hear it as I had already been learning to drive for about half a year but everything I had been taught was slightly wrong. One thing you can count on from Az is you will be told things exactly how they are and know exactly what you’re doing right and wrong, and so if you don’t like criticism you should look elsewhere as Az is not going to sugar coat anything and he doesn’t wear rose tinted glasses. Unlike a lot of instructors Az doesn’t do lessons just for the money but instead he actually cares about his pupils and wants to see them pass, when I passed today you couldn’t tell who was happier.

Fantastic experience: Az is a brilliant instructor. He was my son’s instructor and my son has passed his test first time and with zero faults. My son enjoyed the lessons with him, and he found him to have a very good teaching balance, making the lessons enjoyable while covering the material very well. I liked his approach of keeping an electronic progress record and sharing this with us regularly. He is a responsive, very knowledgeable and experienced instructor.

Fantastic experience: Az is an amazing instructor, he took me in after my hiatus from driving lessons due to health issues and gave me the confidence to pass my exam. It was hard for me to learn how to drive here in the UK as it's so different from back home (Philippines driver) but Az was so patient with me and made sure I understand everything, but most importantly he taught me how to drive safely. Fantastic experience: I had never driven outside of London, and hadn't driven a diesel for over a year, when I had my first lesson with Az. Five days later, I passed my practical. His strict yet understanding teaching style ensured we covered everything we needed to, and corrected what needed to be correct. He even predicted the test route I took on the day, meaning I had done every road at least twice - and had been talked to on most of them in our lessons! Negative experience: Tried to book lessons, at anytime, any day, any week, month, this year or next. Instead learned about how others forget the theory after passing (not sure how that applied to me?), the backlog due to COVID (no doubt, but can I book a lesson?) and how bad feedback can be on speaker phone. So I gave up after 10 minutes on the phone. I went to RED website instead, 10 minutes later, lessons booked was easy.

Fantastic experience: After a very long-winded journey, I finally managed to get that license we both worked hard for. Az was my 3rd or 4th instructor and from the very beginning I knew that I'll learn to become a safe driver with him - something I haven't felt with my past instructors. Driving is probably one of the hardest things I had to learn and Az continued to be patient. It was a difficult journey but he's taught me valuable lessons for the road and life. A professional instructor who always tries his best to put his student's needs first. My test happened whilst he was away due to personal matters but he passed me onto another instructor for test day & we managed to pass. So, many thanks to both you and Jamal! PS: Highly recommend his routines, whilst I wasn't the biggest fan during our drives - I had it all written out just before the test day, just in case I ever need a refersher in the future;)

Fantastic experience: Az had been an amazing driving instructor for me. I’d been with him from never having driven a car before through to me passing my driving test a couple days ago at the first time of asking with only 1 minor fault. The most important thing from him is that he ensures that you only develop positive driving habits so that you can become a good and safe driver. He doesn’t rush anything so you can feel as comfortable as possible with each aspect of driving by the time your test date comes around. Would definitely recommend him to be your driving instructor.

Negative experience: Spoke to AZ Rahman regarding diving lessons. I said I’d have a think about it and when I got back to him a few months later he rudely replied, “ You've had 3-4 months to think about it, maybe its best you think it through and find another instructor. Wishing you all the best mate ” He was completely rude for no reason. Don’t recommend him at all.

Over the course of my lessons I went from a nervous wreck to a confident, collected driver. His calm and relaxed manner allowed me to feel like it was okay to make a mistake, he would have a gentle conversation about what went wrong and how it could be better, before allowing me to try to correct the mistake. Az helpfully found the time to offer a few hours of practice before my test, and in that short time he managed to improve my driving a considerably amount with helpful tips and answers to my many questions.
