Fantastic experience: Great driving instructor, my daughter needed a new instructor and we were recommended Dave. In her first lesson he did an assessment to see where she was at as she had already taken a test 5 months prior. I like how he was honest and didn't make her have loads of lessons that she didn't need. She would get very nervous about lessons, but he made her feel less nervous and more confident and she past her test with only 3 minors. Thank you Dave

Fantastic experience: I had been doing driving lessons with Dave Gregory for a good few months and he has been fantastic, always giving good instructions and i felt very comfortable in the car, he managed to get me an early test date which I passed with zero faults, an incredible instructor that I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've consistently had a pleasant driving experience with Dave who was really informative and never made you feel bad about your mistakes, only correcting and ensuring you feel safe. I felt completely comfortable driving with him ever since the start when he never pushed me past my comfort zone and after just about 26 hours of practice I passed my driving test! I completely recommend him to anyone else looking for the perfect way to learn to first drive.

Fantastic experience: I was let down leading up to and right before my test but Dave was able to take me on and take me to my first test to which I failed but Dave believed in me and encouraged me for my 2nd test and I passed! Fantastic experience: Passed my test with Dave, honestly the best instructor I could of asked for, he would never intervene with adjusting steering wheel unless absolutely necessary allowing for mistakes to be seen if any, and with only 12 hours with him I don't think I could of had a better instructor for them. Because of him I passed with only 2 minors, I couldn't recommend him anymore. His teaching methods are simple and effective and aslong as you understand him it all goes well.

Due to my work schedule, i had to have lessons at different times each week and he was very accommodating to this. I booked a short notice test and he rang around for someone to take me (due to already having a test) and Angela took me who was brilliant too. I passed! Thankyou to both of them :)

Fantastic experience: My whole experience with Dave and DLA has been fantastic from start to finish. Being a very nervous driver at the start, Dave took me under his wing and guided me in the right direction. Lessons were calm, collected and he never raised his voice when I did something wrong, which made me as a learner very calm. Fantastic experience: I don't think you can get any better than Dave. Dave is extremely patient and calming in the car. A personality trait I think is super helpful for his students. I would highly reccomend Dave, throughout my driving experience he was always so kind, calming and extremely knowledgable when it came to driving, he made me feel really confident on the roads, any nerve wracking situation we ran into, he would make sure I am calm and handle it safely, always pointing me in the right direction. I don't think you can ask for anymore from him. Most importantly, he is extremely supportive, and genuinely cares about his students. I managed to pass first try, with only 26 hours on the road, and most of the credit has to go to Dave for making me a safe, and calm driver! Thanks Dave, keep being you!

He provided brilliant lessons which allowed me to pass my test by November and I really enjoyed the lessons as dave is a great instructor. I was also very satisfied with the app included in the lesson package which helped me to pass my theory. Thank you Dave for teaching me how to drive in a very short period of time! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I genuinely don’t think I could have asked for a better driving instructor. I started lessons in May and passed in June! 20 hours, 10 lessons Dave was a patient and through teacher who always went though everything with me until he was sure I was confident in it. I felt like I knew what I was doing at the start/end of every lesson and that I was genuinely making progress, not just driving for the sake of it. Fantastic experience: Dave G has been great in training myself on my Part 2 and over 40 hours required to obtain my “Pink Badge” to become an approved driving instructor. Dave knows his stuff. Fantastic experience: I’m a 39 year old first time mum who moved out to Houghton Regis from London when my baby was 1 month old. I very quickly realised I needed to learn to drive. I found DLA Dave online and was so lucky to have found the most patient, caring and supportive instructor I could have wished for. I suffer from anxiety and nerves which severely affected my test performance and Dave stuck by me the whole time encouraging me through 4 failed tests and kept me focused. In the end on my fifth test I passed and this was only possible because Dave believed in me and kept me going. I’m a keyworker and Dave even took the time during lockdown to prepare me for my test. My life has been transformed now I can drive and I wouldn’t be driving if it hadn’t been for Dave. I thoroughly enjoyed our lessons and would recommend DLA to anyone who is similar to me and suffers from anxiety etc as they will get you through it and you will drive! I’m not a confident driver, made long journeys on motorways already. Thank you Dave and DLA for everything.
