Fantastic experience: I had put off learning to drive for years, as I was anxious about being on the road and never had any lessons, as I thought I would never drive. Right from my first driving lesson, my instructor supported me driving in a side road and gave me enough confidence to eventually start driving on busy roads. With his support and encouragement, I felt more and more confident as time went on. My instructor was extremely experienced and patient throughout, whilst supporting me to improve on my skills and building my confidence, to the point that I became more sure of my driving abilities. In addition to this, my instructor made the lessons something I looked forward to, as he was supportive and with good sense of humor we got through hiccups in my driving along the way, whilst I honed on my driving skills. The result was that I passed my test first time, which I never thought would happen. Could not recommend ASM school of motoring enough!!

From my first interaction onwards, I always had positive feel with the ASM school of driving. I had my first call with Mr.Idris and he gave me right information on how to start with the formalities of driving license in the UK. Mr. Idris routed me to Mr. Arif, who takes care both manual and automatic lessons. His teaching skills are brilliant and I have no doubt that , I wouldn't have passed the test on first attempt itself, without his advice and support. He started with ease making me comfortable and analyzed and observed my driving. Then after 2 classes, he started teaching the rules and driving techniques which have to be followed in UK, as a practice. He was very clear what to teach and when to teach. When we started doing the mock tests, Mr. Arif was very tough. But it was for my good, because those tough practices made me to think and concentrate while driving, which eventually became natural. He will not advice you to go for the real test, unless he feels we are safe and comfortable in driving, following the rules. We both had mutual respect, trust and understanding in between and as a result I could pass with zero minors, on first attempt. The examiner was so happy with my performance and he had no comments, for any further improvements. I can recommend ASM driving school to anyone without any hesitation. His lessons were very fun and very educative and pay high attention to detail which is exactly what the examiner wants to see. The punctuality of Arif was great as he was never late and was very flexible of where we could meet as I lived very far which was very mindful and helpful of him. Negative experience: Got rude and passive aggressive as he owed me 8 minutes from a previous lesson and I politely asked for this. At 35 pounds an hour and when having 4 hour lessons a week I feel its my right to ask. He also answers many calls during lessons and pick up and drop off pupils. Won't recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had refresher lessons from Idris Bhai, as I had not driven for quite some time after earning my license. In that time, I developed a lot of anxieties and loss of confidence in being on the road. In just 6 sessions, Idris Bhai helped me through areas where I needed more practice and kept me engaged and motivated, which helped me overcome my anxieties. I would highly recommend Idris Bhai, he was an excellent instructor to me and I’m very happy to have had his support and guidance in what is a life long essential skill.

I only had a short 4 months to learn how to drive from scratch as my theory was running out and I just graduated so now I had the time. I was nervous but I was put at ease and we breezed through.
