Fantastic experience: Going from a car license to learning to drive a full size artic in a week may sound daunting at first but doing this with Gary/GML was an absolute breeze to accomplish! After sending a few emails to various schools around Wiltshire enquiring about lessons (and including a couple of questions) GML was the only one that answered with a proper reply and responded to my questions. From there, things like organising the date for the course, payments and things to read up on, were all sorted out very easily and promptly with no hassle. From a learners point of view, I found Gary to always be clear and concise when explaining anything and never needed to ask him to repeat anything because it wasn't explained well the first time, Always patient and relaxed while giving intructions and guidance while driving which made the first time out on the road much less stressful than it could have been! The actual truck you use is in good condition and the trailer is full length, so you'll be fine driving anything you're given to drive when working. Considering the cost of HGV training, My experience getting my C+E qualification with GML was exactly what I hoped it would be, with no regrets or feeling that anything had been missed out! And yes I passed first time...

Fantastic experience: Gas is a sound bloke, knows his stuff really well, has some great stories from his time in the forces too. He has a keen eye for things that would catch you out and makes it incredibly easy to understand how you should do them differently or how you can make it easier for yourself. All in all, even though I passed on my second attempt, I never once felt like I was being rushed, regular breaks out on your lessons (including the odd coffee).honestly given that you spend 4 hours at a time one to one with no one else in the cab but him makes for a very enjoyable and student focussed experience. Fantastic experience: I did the 6 Day C+E course with Gary at GML Driver Training in Swindon. Straight away after contacting him he sent through an informative message on how to book my drivers medical, theory tests and cpc test. The instructions and prices of courses was very clear. He will also add you to a theory app online so you can get learning straight away. After doing my relevant theory and cpc tests I rang him up to book. Throughout the whole course I felt very relaxed and Gary will do all he can to build your skills in preparation for your test. Each Day he will build up your knowledge on the safety features so that you can confidently answer the questions the examiner may ask you. Finally, he did a great job of providing a relaxed and light hearted atmosphere. I genuinely had a great time learning this past week and would recommend Gary to anyone who is considering upgrading their licence. The whole process from booking my drivers medical to gaining my C+E was just under 2 months, so really doesn't take too long to complete.

Fantastic experience: Well i have been driving for a while and I decided to upgrade my car license to a C+E (class 1). I met Gary at GML driver training. He helped me to become a truck driver in less than a week. I am not saying it was easy. I am saying we, me and Gary worked really hard for me to become a truck driver! He was there with me from the beginning to the end!!! I couldn’t fall in better hands. He is a REALLY GOOD PERSON AND A TOP INSTRUCTOR. He is very honest and straight forward at instructing what should be done in each turn you take. Even a non english speaker should be able to understand him and his methods. On the practical training we drove a lot around the exam routes making it easier to understand what the examiners will require from a HGV driver. Over all i am so happy. I’m not only happy because I got my license. I’m happy because i know I’ve done my course with the best instructor ps: was forgetting. Also the Best course price around. I can only thank him for all of this.

Fantastic experience: What can I really say... Gary at GML is an absolute legend and a true gentleman. I came to him with a Class D bus licence and he turned me in to a truck driver in 4 days, I had my first test on the 5th day unfortunately failed due to a silly mistake on my behalf but Gaz never lost faith, we re booked for two weeks later and today I passed my Class 1 all thanks to him. I wanted this licence so badly and it genuinely wouldn't have been possible without him. If you're thinking of doing you Class 1 there is no better instructor than Gary at GML

I used to wonder how people could ever drive artic lorries which are humongous I’ve never received so much kindness, detailed instructions and help before in my life. Literally training under these guys was the best experience and they literally built me up from rock bottom. I would recommend them an infinity amount of times especially since I came from London I was so worried about adjusting to the area and if I’d have enough time to practice and get my license done but I did the confidence they gave me was immaculate and since I am a relatively shy person that is saying a lot. Fantastic experience: On day one, having never even stepped into a HGV cab, I was skeptical passing in 5 days was possible. Luckily Gary’s 1:1 training gives you the time and skills to do it! Along with his experience and sense of humour you’ll feel at home in his truck making the whole process a breeze….don’t just base your training choice on price but also take into account that GML is one of if not the only school in Swindon that offers a one to one format.

Fantastic experience: I passed my C+E test first time thanks to Garys excellent tuition. His teaching method is focused on exactly what you need to do to pass. I would say he’s the best option in Swindon if you want to do the car to C+E course because the teaching is 1to1, and the first time pass rate of his students is very high because of this. Fantastic experience: Claire is such an amazing teacher! I passed in just under 8 months, she was so supportive the whole time and made learning to drive a really positive experience for me. I was worried about learning in an SUV at first, but once I picked it up it made everything much easier, especially moving onto my own car which is a lot smaller! The course time can be flexible and I managed to start my course through the weekend which helped with my days off of work. His instructing was flawless, always so clear and polite, never felt like you were being misled or any sort of confusion. The best part was that it was 1 to 1, just you and the instructor, which is the BEST way to get your license, gets rid of any confusion and you really get that much needed seat time. you were always made aware of ways to improve and making sure your making the right decisions and good progress to make you that perfect driver. It's an intense course, takes a lot of time and energy, but was well balanced with much needed breaks and time to reflect on your driving and looking for ways to improve.
