Fantastic experience: Today I passed my driving test with Robert’s amazing help. I couldn’t have done it without him. I’m someone who has audio processing disorder and dyslexia and Robert made techniques to help me with my confidence in driving. Super patient and works hard to get you to achieve your goal. Thank you so much Robert for everything. I really appreciate it. Can’t wait for my car now haha!

Fantastic experience: Robert was amazing! I did my test twice previously with a different instructor and failed both times, gave up on driving for a year and finally got back to it around October after finding Robert, only did a few lessons to catch up and recap and I managed to pass yesterday! As a parent, after reading the entire highway code and watching some YouTube, I have been taking them out for several months in our own car before starting lessons with Dar. After only about 10 hours Dar recommended they put in for test. Very happy so far.

Fantastic experience: Big shout out to Robert who managed to teach my girlfriend how to drive without ever being sworn at or inducing a Chernobyl-level meltdown. He’s a much better man than me. Although listening to the missus say how wonderful he was all the time might have made me worry occasionally She started off having lessons with a chap from a different [automatic cars driving school] where she wasted 6 months driving at less than 20 miles per hour. This would have been fine if he didn’t also spend half his lessons saying how wonderful he is and how accommodating he is… whilst never committing to timings, turning up late and generally being a nightmare. I had to fight so hard to get my girlfriend to change driving schools, and I am so glad that I did, because… ROBERT, at UPLANDS DRIVING SCHOOL, was - ALWAYS ON TIME (or early)* - COMMUNICATED CLEARLY - KEPT IT SIMPLE (and) SAFE - WAS ALWAYS SUPPORTIVE AND ENCOURAGING. *It’s like the roads Robert drives are in an alternate universe where there’s no traffic as somehow [the other instructor] always hit bad traffic. I am quite public facing, so whenever I get a chance, I now always recommend Uplands Driving School - and Robert in particular for lessons in an Automatic. His car was also really nice and he was very happy for me to ride along so I could see how to support my girlfriend when we did driving practice together. I get the feeling she probably didn’t rave about how wonderful I am to her other man though

Fantastic experience: I came to Robert @Uplands after really struggling with another driving school. I had zero confidence (and competence), but Robert was just amazing. It's been particularly challenging as an adult learner, but Robert was extremely patient, kind, and kept everything simple. He got me driving well in no time. I'm extremely grateful, and would recommend this driving school to anyone. Shout out also to Lorne for putting me in touch with Robert, while offering to give me manual lessons as well in case Robert didn't have availability. I was in a bit of a rush to get driving as I was going to be moving away for work and needed my independence. Uplands was really accommodating and started my lessons ASAP. Not to mention working around my long work hours/shift patterns, which meant doing lessons late on weekdays, as well as most weekends. Thank you Robert and thank you Uplands Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Had Robert as my instructor, teaching me automatic. Honestly, cannot find a flaw. I am on the autism spectrum and suffer from ADD, so it was already quite difficult for me to adapt to driving. Robert could not have helped any better with this, teaching me to verbalise while constantly driving, from lesson 1, as opposed to constantly stopping to read from a book. Not like most instructors, but no doubt is the more ideal method. Overall, can't get a better option than Robert Sabido; thank you!

Fantastic experience: First time pass with Robert Sabido after only 9 lessons!!! I don’t think there are enough words in any language to describe how exceptional of an instructor and person Rob is. Regardless of experience, any driving anxieties, and any additional needs, he puts a lot of time and effort into his teaching and your learning, fully tailoring each lesson to you and your needs, and even going as far as learning additional teaching techniques (even sign language!!) so that absolutely anyone can learn to drive with him. You can see the passion he has for his job straight away, placing loads of importance on safety & simplicity (KISS - keep it simple and safe! I’m taking this one to the grave ). His patience, calmness, and constant reassurance was a huge help along with all the laughs we shared on our lessons. The fact that he was able to get me to conquer Briton Ferry roundabout speaks volumes! Really wish I went with Rob & Uplands School of Motoring as soon as I started to learn as I’d definitely be on the road by now. I don’t think I’ve ever recommended anyone as highly as I do Rob and this is coming straight from the heart - whatever your experience, confidence level, disability, age, background, etc, Rob will get you on the road and he will make you a safe and confident driver. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of learning to drive with an amazing instructor, and I couldn't be more satisfied with Nehar's teaching and experience—professionalism, patience, and expertise throughout the entire learning process. From the very first lesson, Nehar's personality created a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. She took the time to understand my nervousness when it came to driving, adding humour to the lessons which allowed me to feel more confident behind the wheel. Nehar could spot my mistakes and allow me to reflect on them without initially telling me what I did wrong, allowing me to scan over what I did and Identify the problem myself. After I identified the mistake she would explain to me how I could fix this in a calm, encouraging and professional manner. She also used examples and visual aids such as a whiteboard where she would draw the situation I was in, or even use toy cars to show me what was happening. This allowed me to reflect on these mistakes and rectify them during the lessons we had. Having 0 experience when it came to driving, within 4 months I passed my test with flying colours. The amount of things I learned in those 4 months has allowed me to become a safe, responsible and confident driver. Overall, the quality of the lessons was amazing I could not be more happy with my experience with Nehar. I recommend Nehar to all those who want to learn how to drive and pass their test effortlessly with a boatload of confidence!

Fantastic experience: Robert Sabido is professional and very understanding. I have learning difficulties and had four driving instructors over the past ten years. Rob challenged himself to learn about my disability and to come up with alternative ways of teaching me. He went over things until they were understood and never belittled me in anyway. Fantastic experience: I learned to drive with Lorne Gibbons and I cannot recommend him enough. He was an absolute pleasure to learn with and made me feel at ease whilst driving. After passing today, I’m so thankful to Lorne!

Fantastic experience: I started taking lessons with Uplands School of Motoring as I was left disappointed with A2Z of Motoring! My instructor Luke was really great. He gave me a big confidence boost and was helpful all the way. We got on really well! I passed my driving test with them recently after what seems like a lifetime! I would highly recommend this school to anyone as well as Luke. Reasonably priced as well!

Fantastic experience: I had struggled with my driving for years , little did I know a very competent and patient driving instructor was right down the road from me. *Mark* I attribute my confidence and competence to your methodic instruction. Your talent to deconstruct the issues I was having and explain them in a way I was able to understand was instrumental to me understanding the basics to build upon. I can't say thank you enough and would highly recommend him as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I was so lucky my instructor was Lorne. He is really knowledgeable especially about the test routes in Swansea area. I took 10-15 hours of lesson from him and passed my driving test in my first time. My test route was the one we already practiced on so I didn't have any issue completing it just with 2 minor faults. Thanks a lot Lorne.

Fantastic experience: I was desperately looking for a driving instructor as I had just 2-3 months before my test. Everyone was over booked but Lorne kindly took me under his wing. We went through about 10-12 hours of test routes and today I came home with a driving licence! Lorne was very patient, punctual, precise with his instructions and knew how to tailor each lesson to my needs. Can't thank you enough!! I'll now try not to lose my licence again! I would highly recommend taking lessons from Lorne.

Fantastic experience: I needed some refresher driving lessons after not haven driven for about 10 years and having passed my driving test many years before that. Jamie was patient, and built up my confidence whilst also advising on points for improvement and changes in the highway code. I was lucky to have had Jamie as my refresher driving instructor and can thoroughly recommend him
