Fantastic experience: Vasile is extremely thorough and prompt to ensure you become the most confident driver possible. My driving transformed dramatically within a minimum of 2 lessons there was a noticeable change! He works at your pace to ensure you aren't overwhelmed however will also challenge you (in stages) to ensure you gain the most in his lessons. I have had lessons with other driving instructors before Vasile and the value for money on lessons with Vasile don’t compare and I couldn't recommend him enough, he managed to prepare me for my test in a month. Apart from him being extremely friendly and helpful, he ensures you’re confident and ready for your test!

Negative experience: My husband and I have been driving for over 20 years and recently decided to take refresher lessons to familiarize ourselves with the UK driving test system. Unfortunately, our experience with the instructor Vasile was beyond disappointing. During our first session, my husband was driving while I sat in the back. As we approached a narrow road with parked cars on our side and oncoming traffic, my husband slowed down with the intention to stop. Instead of calmly explaining that this wasn’t necessary, Vasile suddenly grabbed the steering wheel and raised his voice, shouting, “What are you doing?! Continue, continue, continue!” This aggressive behavior shocked both of us—we never expected an instructor to react this way. The situation only got worse. As we approached a roundabout, my husband may have made a mistake, but once again, Vasile jumped on the steering wheel, adding unnecessary stress to an already tense situation. By the time we reached the third roundabout and Vasile grabbed the wheel yet again, I had to speak up. I told him that his approach was wrong and that this not only stresses me out in the back, sure is stressing my husband out as a driver! Instead of acknowledging his mistake, he turned to me and stated that he would not continue to give us lessons. This was incredibly frustrating—an instructor who clearly has no clue how to handle students telling us he wouldn’t continue the sessions? That should be our decision, not his. The only positive outcome from this ordeal was that Vasile refunded the money we had paid. However, the experience was so stressful and unprofessional that we’re left with a very negative impression of this driving school. If you’re looking for a calm, experienced, and professional instructor, we strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Positive experience: I had a mixed experience with Elena. On the positive side, she was excellent at helping me improve my driving technique. She had me repeat the same exercises until I mastered them, which was really effective in building my skills. She was also very flexible with her schedule, accommodating many sessions before my driving exam, which I appreciated. However, there were some downsides to my experience. Unfortunately, she lacked patience and would often yell at me, which impacted my confidence. I found myself afraid of making mistakes, which made it hard to learn effectively. Additionally, her lessons were quite expensive, which was another concern. While I did improve technically, the overall experience was stressful, and I felt it affected my confidence behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: The driving instructor is a really great teacher, she knows when to be more calm and relaxed not to stree me out when driving but serious when necessary which really helps to understand situations on the road. I feel like I wouldn't have learned so much so quickly with any other instructor. I would recommend for anyone thinking of doing Manual as I can't speak on the automatic side

Negative experience: Despite having completed some lessons and possessing extensive experience driving abroad, I found myself in need of further preparation for an exam. However, my inquiries were consistently ignored. Adding to the frustration was the quality of instruction provided during the initial lessons, which only compounded my need to seek alternative schooling. I'm left with the task of finding another driving school that can provide the necessary instruction and support for my exam preparation.

Negative experience: I’ve had 2 lessons and was ready to book more, as I have many years of experience driving abroad and I needed to get ready for an exam quite fast. But I never got an opportunity to do that, at first for the reason of being ‘overbooked’ and then my attempts to communicate were just ignored. Now I have to look for another school which is very frustrating

Fantastic experience: I came across Elena’s driving school on Google. I wasn’t a new driver, as I already had an overseas driving license that I couldn’t exchange in the UK. So, I had to prepare for the British driving exam. Elena helped me a lot to get used to the driving in the UK, explained all tips and tricks that a driver has to know before sitting the test. Everything from the very first lesson was very nice and convenient, especially the fact the I’m a Uni student and Elena came to pick me up right at the campus. The instructors also helped me to book my driving test by finding the cancellation on the nearest date. Lessons were really helpful and I passed an exam from a first try. It was my pleasure to take lessons at Elena’s driving school. Can recommend for the beginning drivers as well as for those who already have some driving experience. Very convenient for Uni students as well!

Fantastic experience: Just cleared my UK car driving test, in my maiden attempt! Woohoo! Don't be fooled by the pics though! They tell nothing about what a nervous trainwreck I was until just the day before the exam With the post-covid rush costing me an entire year to find a test slot, the pressure to clear it right away without losing another year was just tremendous and to add to that, I had some driving experience from India which worked against me. You just can’t pass here in the UK if you drive like in India But thanks to Elena, the sweetest driving instructor, she identified and helped me unlearn the poor driving habits I had picked up over the years, trained me on different test routes, scolded me whenever I was being a stubborn ox, and cheered me up when I was buckling under pressure on the eve of the test...I was finally able to ease my nerves and get through this perceived hurdle without a fuss. Whether you’re a new driver or an experienced one, I would strongly recommend taking driving lessons from Elena! Absolutely worth it!

Fantastic experience: After doing a few lessons with other instructors whose lessons I felt weren’t as informative and helpful I met Vasile and this changed my whole attitude about driving. Vasile is friendly and funny, which lets you feel comfortable and not make mistakes, but most importantly he is a very good teacher. He explains things clearly and lets you know why you have to do things instead of just telling you to do them. He teaches you not just to pass your test but to drive safely afterwards. I recommend Vasile to both people learning to drive for the first time, and also to people who have started learning how to drive but haven’t had the best experience with their instructor. Positive experience: Elena is an exceptional instructor with extensive experience. I've taken over 40 hours of lessons with her. The only downside I've noticed is that her services are a bit on the expensive side. Positive experience: I came to Elena after already driving for a year. (I had a different instructor for a while but had been a few months without a teacher). I had quite a few bad habits that I didn't even realize I had and she helped me build my confidence after not driving for a while. She was flexible with my timetable, however you do need to keep messaging her to keep you on her radar.

She gives very clear instructions, gives you her full attention to really help you on things you struggle with. Strongly recommending!

Vasile is very sincere in his work and provides great insights during the lessons.Once we got on the same wavelength it was easy to communicate with him and he proved to be someone you can depend upon. He uses his experience to share possible areas of improvement and ably guides in solving these. I wish him and Elena driving school the very best going forward.
