Fantastic experience: A big thankyou to Homers Driving School and Kal, my instructor for helping me pass my driving test 1st time and also helping me with completing pass plus. Top driving school and Kal is a top bloke. Very good in what he does and makes you feel comfortable and calm through your journey to driving. Only started in February and passed week last Thursday so i can't thank Kal enough for his expertise and motivation for you to succeed. He will have you passing without a dought. Highly recommend if you are deciding to take lessons.

Fantastic experience: Would really recommend the faster test date service. Got a test date within two months and I passed last week with Mo. Super helpful as I just got into university and I can now drive there!

Negative experience: Wow, just called, had the phone put down on me because I said , ooow at the 40 pound per hour charge, he said can't help you then, thanks and put the phone down. Such a shame. Very upsetting and rude, it did not mean I wouldn't have gone with you, I was just surprised. Lost a customer looking for around 3 lessons per week.

Fantastic experience: Well it’s pretty much hard to explain in words that what I have learnt from my instructor “Sarah”. She was amazing even from the first day when I started my lessons from her and upto the last minute in the DVLA unit 2 office she had been teaching me like what to do and how to do .I would say Homers driving school are lucky one to have such a good and talented instructor which I would say its rarely would be anywhere. It was my first time ,I passed my test within 8 weeks.So finally I would say thank you sooooooo much Sarah mam you really trained me so well even the official instructor was happy to drive with me. Always felt very comfortable behind the wheel and was prepared to the highest level for the driving test. Carmen was a lovely person to meet and I got along with her very easily. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to learn with at homers. Kev was amazing, teaching me every thing I needed to know to be able to pass my driving test and was very understanding when things went wrong and knew how to correct them straight away and was very positive and reinforcing when mistakes happened. There was never a dull moment in every lesson I had with Kev couldn’t of asked for anything more, so a big thank you to Homer’s but a bigger thank you to Kev for everything he did for me for the time he taught me to drive.

Fantastic experience: Joined with Rachel last January after having 100s of lessons with another company and getting no where. I’m a nightmare to find times for lessons due to work however Rachel found time to always squeeze me in! I can’t say enough good things about Rachel - she’s patient and is brilliant at explaining things - I am a stresser so like things broken down so my brain accepts it. She’s always prepared and remembers what you did on your previous lessons and makes notes of strengths and weaknesses to ensure you are test ready! She’s always smiling and happy, and will go out of her way to help. Homers are a fantastic company - My test was cancelled and the homers hub found me a test within hours Of the cancellation! They are always helpful and friendly. If you are after a automatic instructor Rachel at Homers is the best of the best!

Fantastic experience: I would like to give a great big thanks to Les my driving instructor who has been amazing and patient and got me to where I need to be. He had taught me more in a week than my previous instructor had over a long period of time. I'm really happy and thankful to both Les for getting me to a pass standard by being so informative and teaching me all I know on the roads and Sarah for getting me my test dates so quickly. Without you I wouldn't have gotten this far. Again THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!

Fantastic experience: My instructor rachel was an absolutely gem! I suffer with anxiety alot, with new things, new people, even new surroundings, I was anxious proir because I didn't know if I was going to be a slow learner, make mistakes, having previous instructors be impatient if I can't get some things right. But Rachel made me feel comfortable, and at ease, the conversations flew smoothly because she doesn't just treat you as just someone who's paying her, she also values you as a person and gets to know you which also helps your nerves, She makes you believe in yourself and makes you accomplish things when you "think" you can't master them, like a manoeuvres or road knowledge ect... She's patient with you through everything and also uses different teaching methods to find which one you're most comfortable with. She explains things in a simpler form in helps alot and makes you understand easier! You can be guaranteed to walk away from each lesson with a smile and have learned something new. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone, in which I will also be doing. I can not thank her enough! And I wish her success and success for all of her other new and learning drivers to come

Fantastic experience: Rachel is by far the best driving Instructor I have had. I have tried to have lessons multiple times before but always quit after 2 or 3 lessons as I just did not feel comfortable and felt as if I was constantly being shouted at instead of being helped. Rachel made me feel at ease and made me fall in love with driving. She guides you into explaining why certain actions are dangerous, she won’t answer for you. She leads you to the answer. She gives praise when it is deserved and does not make you feel bad when you make a mistake, she will explain why it was wrong and the safety implications behind it. If it wasn’t for Rachel I would never have had the confidence to carry on learning let alone take a driving test. It is all thanks to Rachel that I now have my licence. She built up my confidence and made me believe I could do it. Most importantly she believed in me. I would highly recommend her to anybody looking to learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Kev was absolutely brilliant, I'd heard so many stories about learners dreading their lesson cause they hated driving with their instructor but Kev was fantastic, I looked forward to every single lesson from start to finish. Kev is great to have banter with and chat with during lessons, gives genuinely good feedback and really helps with driving nerves. If you're looking to do manual driving lessons, there's nobody I'd recommend more than Kev.

Negative experience: Open till 9 phoned at 8:40 lady was sharp and rude by saying not being funny but it’s 8.50 in an aggressive voice I will spend my money elsewhere and who are more helpful and less aggressive with new customers stay away

Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend this driving school, especially Kev James who was my driving teacher. I passed a lot quicker than what I thought I would as I was very nervous to begin with, however Kev was very helpful and put my mind at ease. He also makes lessons more engaging by doing driving games instead of just driving around the same way each lesson. He would always let me practice whatever I needed to as many times as I wanted. He is a brilliant teacher and a lovely guy! Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: We booked with Homers approx two months ago, we have arranged twelve lessons and actually had two, one lesson was cancelled in the correct time due to illness, all the others were cancelled on the day by the instructors. Why accept new students if you cannot fulfil commitments. In response to the denial below, I am a customer of yours but not the student, I have asked by your text service why the instructor - Ian - has been trying to face time my 17 year old granddaughter at 1.05am and also texting her at this time, I suppose you’re going to deny this also calling it fake. If you are in any associations I shall be contacting them with my concerns. My name is Nick Lones if anyone wants to contact me I’m on Facebook and I will show the screenshots of the messages sent to my granddaughter. The messages themselves are not inappropriate but the time is and begs the question why ?

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Homers, I had Carmen as my instructor and she was incredibly patient and encouraging with me and explained things very clearly. She was very kind and made lessons much more enjoyable! Homers was very quick and helpful, especially when I needed a last minute test! Overall a great choice, couldn’t be happier!

Negative experience: Having bad anxiety and a instructor Gary who takes days/weeks to respond when you have a test coming up is not what i signed up for in the end I got so fed up I decide to block him and I passed with another company thankfully. I wouldn’t recommend this place, they are all for themselves not professional and the office has rude individuals working for them specially when complaining, a women I spoke to gave a “no right to complain” attitude towards me, this place has a reputation known by many, I’m not the type to listen to gossip but can say the gossip was true in the end.

Fantastic experience: I called Homer’s driving school, as I wanted to get back into driving, after a 15 year gap and as we had an automatic car, which I’d never driven, Homer’s put me in touch with Rachel and we arranged to have some lessons so i could once again feel confident driving. Rachel was excellent, i couldnt have asked for a better instructor, she was really friendly and patient with lots of helpful tips to improve my driving. I would certainly recommend Rachel and Homer’s to anyone, either starting out on their driving journey or restarting after a break like me.

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test with your amazing instructor Nick Hammond yesterday and I am over the moon! I have had a several different instructors over the past several years and 7 attempts at the driving test but I passed my first driving test with Nick as my Instructor and I can honestly say he is such a good teacher and an amazing professional, thank you, forever grateful to Nick and Homers!

Negative experience: Beware of booking a lesson with these, they will cancel with no explanation. Plus if you cancel you have to pay the lesson fee. Go spend your money with a professional driving school not these. I cannot stress enough not to use this driving school. They are very unprofessional . I will definitely advise anyone thinking of using this company to do your research. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

Fantastic experience: Tracey was absolutely brilliant. After 3 and a half years and 4 instructors and around 170 hours of lessons and a bit of practice, I never thought I'd get to test standard. Tracey was firm and assertive and built my confidence on the road up in a very short space of time. Homers were great, finding me a test in a short amount of time. I can't thank Homers, and especially Tracey, enough. x Forgot to say I passed the test!!

Fantastic experience: I literally just failed my test on the 3rd of Oct and I contacted them to rebook my test. I thought I was going to wait 10 working days to rebook my test and God knows when GOV would've rebooked it. I contacted them on the 4th and they replied to me back in a few hours managing to book it for 4th of November, like, they acted so quickly. I am so grateful. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Passed today with Homers after doing an Intensive Driving course with Les. He went above & beyond to fit in my lessons so I could complete the course alongside work. He took the time to work on the areas I was struggling with so that I was confident going into the test.
