Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Drive 1st Driving School and, in particular, my driving instructor, Raj. It was very easy to arrange lessons, and he was always flexible with bookings. Very easy to get in contact with. I passed in the Wanstead area, to which he knew all the surroundings and provided me with tips on how to be a safer driver and give me a better chance at passing the practical test. He was also very careful and gave clear instructions on what to do and how to rectify any errors I may have made. No matter what happened, he always remained calm if something had occurred, and for that reason, he is the perfect driving instructor to have for your next test.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Drive 1st was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Mohammed was extremely patient and very knowledgeable throughout my lessons. I had done lessons with other instructors in the past but didn't find the process as enjoyable. In comparison, after my first few lessons with Mohammed I had progressed far more and had a greater understanding. From the first session he asked me what my goals and expectations were of the sessions. I informed him that I wished to pass my test by the end of 2024 and he was able to get me an early test date as he felt I was ready. I passed my practical test on my first attempt with only 3 minor faults after only 4 months of lessons. I just want to thank Mohammed for all the time and patience. I would definitely recommend Drive 1st to anyone looking to get their driving licence!

Fantastic experience: Last year, I began driving lessons on Wanstead test road and quickly felt that driving wasn’t for me. I struggled with directions, often confusing left and right, which made me doubt my abilities. Eventually, I lost the desire to continue and decided to abandon the idea of obtaining a driving license altogether. However, as my theory test expiration neared, I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity and decided to give driving another chance. Despite having little faith in myself, I was curious to see if I could improve. After some research, I discovered Raj from Drive 1st Driving School, who came highly recommended with many positive reviews. I opted for just one lesson initially, to test the waters, especially since my test was only four weeks away. To my surprise, from the very first lesson, I felt a significant shift in my attitude. I was suddenly confident and unafraid of making mistakes, largely because Raj patiently explained every detail and maintained a calm demeanor, even when I repeated the same errors. Negative experience: 0 stars man. I had booking with these guys come to my test no one answering the phone. Had a one reply “with who” then after was constantly ignored so my test was cancelled. Very unprofessional wouldn’t waste your time or money

I went from being relatively low in confidence (I had previously failed my test elsewhere) to calm and in control, even on the trickier manoeuvres, and passing my test. He helped me by making sure i knew the rules of the road, how to apply them during the test and after the test and at the same time he managed to keep me calm and laughing. He has been so supportive and kind and has a great sense of humour which made our lessons feel light and something i looked forward to. The first time I got in Raj’s car, i was petrified. He quickly managed to calm me down. I will forever be thankful for Raj, not only has he helped me pass the test, but he has also increased my confidence levels. I will miss our driving lessons!!

Fantastic experience: First class teaching from an excellent driving school. I passed my test at Wanstead. My instructor was Mohammed who I cannot praise highly enough. Knowledgeable, friendly, calm and very patient, even after the number of scares I put him through! He takes time to explain everything very clearly, and makes you feel comfortable at the wheel. Fantastic experience: Best driving school, I had my lessons with Mohammed islam. Made me pass 1st time with the help and support of him. Perfect driving school if you need one. 11/10 from me never learnt how to drive perfectly and safely in a short amount of time!

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Raj for helping me pass 1st time in Wanstead starting from 0 experience (excluding playing NFS as a kid). Honestly was a bit worried working with an instructor for the first time as I heard some of them can be quite short tempered and taking their time with the lesson progress. However Raj has always been cool as a cucumber, explaining things in a great and approachable manner, and always encouraged me. The feedback was always on point and allowed me to quickly fix any issues I had. Wasn’t expecting I’d be going on a main road on the first lesson , but Raj made sure it was safe and I could make good progress.

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy today as I just passed my driving test. It was my 1st attempt and I passed! I have to say, my instructor, Basith was amazing throughout the lessons. Fantastic experience: As an American who had been driving for years in the states but now needed to get a UK license, I figured I needed to have a few lessons to get some refreshers and learn some of the differences in driving in the UK vs. The US. I had a few lessons with Raj, and he really helped me work on and understand what I needed to do to pass my test, and just brush up on my driving. They were super affordable, and we were able to work around my schedule. He even helped me book an earlier test closer to my house so I could drive in an area I was familiar with. On the day of the test he took me out for one last lesson just before to have everything fresh in the brain and I passed the first go with flying colours!
