Negative experience: I originally chose Jay’s Driving School based on the positive reviews I had read, but my experience quickly turned negative. After my first lesson, Jay became extremely disrespectful and dismissive. His behaviour was not only unprofessional but also seemed intentionally aimed at undermining my confidence. Instead of offering constructive feedback or support, he made personal remarks that left me feeling belittled and discouraged. Jay’s cold attitude and self-centred approach made it clear that his focus was more on praising himself than teaching effectively. I found his conduct to be both demeaning and detrimental to my learning experience. For any learner driver seeking a respectful and encouraging environment, I would not recommend Jay’s Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Jay is the most professional driver I know. Not only does he want you to pass first time, he ensures you are a safe driver and become the best driver you can be for yourself and the roads.

Fantastic experience: Started lessons with Jay with no prior experience and I have to say he is truly amazing. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Fantastic experience: Jay was highly recommended to me by a friend and honestly he was an excellent instructor who is hard working and determined to get you to pass. I came to Jay with only a couple months till my test date, he was always on time, never cancelled and motivated me to keep going and not give up. Because of this he improved my driving to a higher standard and passed first time with him today in Uxbridge.

Today, I successfully passed my driving test in Uxbridge, and I couldn't have achieved this without his support. Steve was not only a skilled driving instructor but also a patient and encouraging mentor. During my driving lessons, he would always provide clear instructions beforehand, ensuring I was well-prepared. Fantastic experience: I had Jay as my driving instructor, great guy and great value for money! I took 10 lessons before continuing elsewhere in the country, and he taught all the manoeuvres and road layouts to a solid extent. He always comes on time and uses the lesson to make sure you are ready for the road. He even gave advice on how to continue my lesson and how I should prepare. 5/5 would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I started learning manual with Jatin and he was a really nice and patient instructor. I see a negative one star review below mine saying that Jatin spoke in a rude tone, but I completely disagree with this. I have never had a bad experience or poor communication with him when I was learning manual. Due to personal reasons, I later decided that I was better off learning automatic and started lessons with Jay. Jay helped me improve my confidence on the road. He clearly explained the differences with driving from manual to automatic which alleviated the stress I had about switching. I work 9-5, 5 days a week and Jay’s lesson times are very flexible and he was able to accommodate my schedule. I was a bit apprehensive at first when I booked my test at Yeading as I heard it was a difficult test centre. However, my anxieties around this disappeared as Jay thoroughly went through all potential routes and helped me boost my self-esteem before taking my test. I am happy to say that I passed my driving test today at Yeading and I feel more confident driving in the future thanks to Jay.

Negative experience: I had Jatin for lessons and he is a very discouraging instructor. After 16 hours of lessons, I asked him how many more lessons are needed and he said the minimum lessons are 40+. He further added I needed more than 40 which was not the case as confirmed by 2 other instructors. If I did not comply with him, he in a rude tone said he would let me use his car for my upcoming test. After I left due to this, the new instructor gave me 10 further lessons which added my hours to 28 and I passed my test first time. Please be aware as he is a Conner! (My new instructor left them because of this as well). Instead give ‘Going to Pass’ a try as I passed first time with them. Edit: As I can’t reply for some reason I’ll just type here. As I can see you are quite two faced, one minute you’re nice and the next you are quite arrogant and come across as ignorant. How dare you call me an “idiot” multiple times, that also gives people the impression of what you deliver. You also mentioned that you “offered me to take Uxbridge” but clearly said to me only Yeading as that’s what you only cover, so I have no idea why you are changing your antics up. Lastly, the last bit you said to celebrate my success, I will do as I know I went to a trustworthy driving school unlike Jays who are not just rude in person, but also online. Good day.

Fantastic experience: I had an exceptional experience with my driving instructor, Jay, and I can't recommend him enough! I was referred to Jay by a friend who had passed his driving test on the first attempt, and now I can proudly say that I did too, thanks to Jay's dedication and expertise. When I first started, I was really struggling and had a tough time grasping some of the basics. During one of my early mock tests, I ended up with nine major faults, which shook my confidence. But Jay never gave up on me. He meticulously identified my weaknesses and worked on them with patience and skill. Jay didn't just teach me how to drive; he built my confidence and helped me believe that I could actually pass the test. To make matters more stressful, my theory test was about to expire, and I was on the verge of canceling my driving test altogether. But Jay motivated me to stick with it, and he even managed to secure a test date just five days before my theory expired. His encouragement and strategic planning paid off—I passed my driving test! If you're looking for an instructor who is not only skilled but also genuinely invested in your success, Jay is the one to go to. I’m incredibly grateful for his support and for helping me achieve something that once felt out of reach.

Fantastic experience: I'm extremely delighted to be writing this review. I started lessons with Jay in August 2023, but paused for a few months when I became pregnant. After having my baby, I resumed lessons with my test booked for today - 7th August 2024. Throughout this journey, Jay was extremely supportive and pushed me to do my best. He offered lessons at all hours—late evenings, early mornings—just to ensure I could pass. And guess what? I did! Not only did I pass on the first attempt, but I also passed with ZERO faults! It's all thanks to Jay and his straightforward teaching approach. He doesn't beat around the bush and will honestly tell you when you're not reaching your potential—exactly what you need in a driving instructor. I cannot recommend him enough! Fantastic experience: I found jays driving school based on how many great google reviews he’s had and I have to say that he’s lived up to them. As a quite anxious person Jays clear motivation was to get me confident and ready to pass. From scratch he has shaped me in to an excellent safe driver, and I’m happy to announce that I passed my test today first time at Yeading test centre (which has a low passing rate). He is very direct and won’t beat about the bush with your faults and makes sure that you get to that test confident and prepared. Negative experience: Very well done Jay, you messed up big time! The same man that runs this business also runs a very lucrative scam operation via Facebook where he advertises cars and bikes for sale overseas, attempts to obtain deposits from potential buyers, and then completely ghosts them. I have screenshots of your ridiculous scam posts, as well as screenshots of your Facebook profile proving that you are in fact the scum behind it all. I have forwarded all information to the authorities in the UK. Best of luck to you, tosser. EDIT: Ah yes of course you got your Facebook hacked. How convenient of an excuse that is for you. Fantastic experience: Jay was very knowledgeable and gives very good tips on how to prepare and pass for the exam. As an international driver converting to UK driving standards, the journey to passing the exam was not easy. But Jay was very determined to help me pass and did all he could. Fantastic experience: I passed my test on 17th May at the Yeading test centre. I came to Jay after taking lessons from 3 driving instructors from different driving schools, in which my driving skills were not improving at all. I started having driving lessons with Jay at the end of October. He is the best driving instructor I have ever had as he is professional, always punctual, and all his driving tips are excellent. He was able to identify and improve my driving errors, and he was the only driving instructor who had given me many useful resources about roundabouts and other things I was unsure of. Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test the first time today at Yeading test centre, couldn’t be more grateful to have had Jay as my instructor. He was very patient and an excellent communicator with a great sense of humour which made learning to drive very enjoyable and lessons something I looked forward to. I started lessons with jay in March and I went away for summer for 2 months, I came back a month before my test, however I still managed to pass with Jay. I would highly recommend him to all learner drivers, trust me you won’t regret it .

Negative experience: Its all a scam, Jay himself taught me he is very arrogant and rude. I took 25 lessons in the beginning he told me he can help me and make sure i pass, but out of nowhere he downgraded me and told me to cancel my test because i am not able to pass and gave up on me. Instead of making sure i don't lose my confidence… please don’t waste your money like i did…

Fantastic experience: There are truly not enough good things that I can say about Jay’s Driving School. Yesterday I passed 1st time with 4 minors at the Yeading test centre, feeling confident and well prepared for any possible routes or curveballs that could come my way. I previously had some experiences with other instructors but none of them compared to the high quality personal service I received from Jay. Arriving on time and never once cancelled or messed me around. Always took the time to fully explain things clearly and worked with me to find the best way to help me learn, including instructional lessons when needed allowing me to observe and fully pay attention to a certain element before putting it to practice in the next lesson. Jay put in a lot of effort to ensure that no lesson was wasted and that each lesson contributed to my knowledge and that it added another skill or helped to build up my confidence behind the wheel. No single lesson was a waste of time. Plenty of large expensive driving schools operate in the area such as AA, but I promise that your money is better spent with an instructor that has spent years building up a wealth of knowledge in the area and truly knows the area like the back of his hand and will work with you to make sure that you are fully equipped to be driving at a higher standard than the test requires. Put bluntly, here you will learn the proper way of doing things. Incredible value for an incredible service! Thanks again Jay!

Fantastic experience: I found Jay online and came to him knowing nothing about driving. Jay was absolutely wonderful teaching me and built up my knowledge about driving and its skills. We booked my practical test once he thought I was ready and prepared enough to do so. We completed mock driving tests to simulate a real driving exam. This helped me a lot. On the 14th of July I passed my practical driving test with only 4 minors. I remembered everything that Jay taught me during my test and he is overall a great teacher. I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Had my first lesson on 23rd of March this year with Steve. I found Jay’s Driving School on the DVSA website and as distance from my place had to factor in, I decided to give it a go. Steve was very patient with me from the beginning and boosted my confidence after only a few lessons. On 29th of May I had my driving exam in Slough after 32 hours of driving and managed to pass it first time with 3 minors only. So with commitment to the process I have managed to get my license within 60 days. Steve is an amazing instructor, and recommend always listening to him and asking for advice.

I can say he is very professional and give me confidence in safety in the very first lessons. To be honest, 3 months is a very tight timeframe for a new beginner, but he managed to get me ready in 34 hours lessons. It was a pleasant time to do lesson with Steve. I would recommend him to anyone who want to get the test pass in 1st try.

Fantastic experience: I came to Jay at the end of August after putting off driving for nearly 10 years due to a bad experience with previous driving instructor. As you can imagine I was an extremely nervous driver and doubtful of my capabilities. Jay put me at complete ease and built up my confidence whilst teaching me the skills needed in order to pass the driving test. He also got me to take plenty of mock tests and then work on areas that needed improving. Well, hard work pays off, I passed my test this morning first time. If you want a calm, friendly driving instructor then I highly recommend Jay!

Negative experience: The 2 primary reasons for cancelling my lessons with Marina were back pain so bad I could barely walk and also depression from how condescending and patronising a teacher Marina is, if you can even use the word teacher. It took me a year because after you made me cancel my test there were no slots available for months and months but with Eazy driving school I passed within 5 weeks. Still ignoring the part where you make students switch centres because you're not good enough to teach certain routes. I had complete willingness to learn but not with someone who has no manners and cannot teach. You are letting the name of the driving school down. If Eazy driving taught me in 5 weeks why did it take you 5 months?

Negative experience: Marina at Jay's driving school ruined my confidence and genuinely made me hate taking lessons. She is patronising, condescending and destroys your confidence to the point you're certain you'll never pass your test. She makes so many students switch test centres because she doesn't believe in her own ability to teach different routes. She prolongs your learning journey because she wants to waste your money. Don't bother with her, use Eazy driving school trust me you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Jayesh (Jay) - He is a must for beginners and for everyone who wants to drive safe! Apologies for a long review but I feel there aren't enough words to praise and appreciate the hard work Jayesh has put in behind my success today and all his students for last 16+ yrs. I am nearing my 40's with zero driving experience till ~7 months ago and I approached Jay, that was the best decision I could have taken in my driving journey. I still remember the first day, he took me to a quiet road and took out his toy cars to teach me the turns :) and the long journey began from there on. Not only he teaches you, he helps you go through your emotions, nervousness, rash decisions and not to forget his little tips about how experienced drivers drive, when to look in the mirrors, what to expect at junctions, roundabouts etc. Being a father myself, I feel disappointed when I see my son not doing a certain thing well when I know he has the potential, same thing happens with Jay. He saw the true potential in me, hand held me when I went all over the place with my driving but he trusted me throughout my whole journey. I would advise everyone to believe in yourself and take every criticism of your instructor in a positive way as I did with Jay. He was persistent & diligent, showed confidence in me to make sure I pass. In the end, the most important thing! Don't rush towards your driving test, everyone has their own learning curve - practice, listen to Jay and you will pass!

Fantastic experience: Came to Jay a month before my driving test and passed first time. Even though my test was booked before meeting Jay, we agreed to do an initial assessment. After the assessment, Jay informed that I had the potential to pass if I put the effort and had lessons. Had previous instructors who could didn’t bother much and didn’t give clear instructions. Jay ensured that his students are ready before their test; he really cares about his students. Worth the money for sure!

Fantastic experience: Few months ago came to Jay after having two previous driving instructors. Did a lesson once every week. After the first lesson Jay made me feel very comfortable and taught me new skills every driving lesson which made me understand what was required to become independent, safe and confident in myself. We did loads of mock tests so I could understand how to totally be independent after learning from my mistakes after the mock tests.Today I took my driving test and passed first time. Then I came to Jays driving school and I had lessons, there was a big difference in teaching styles and I understood the methods. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to Jay by my brother who passed his driving test after having lessons with him. I had 20 lessons in total, he was very helpful patient and easy to understand. We covered maneuvers such as forward and reverse bay parking, parallel parking and pulling up on the right. I will be relocating to a new city, but i feel confident enough to take my driving test wherever i move to after all the lessons I've had with Jay.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Jays Driving School to any learner driver. Having Jay as my teacher felt like hitting the jackpot! It took me some time to be able to drive confident and secure that is superb considering learning from scratch and not being able to get any classes due to my busy schedule (I did weekends only), also took some time off when I was sick with covid. However Jay was really patient and supportive at all times despite a lot of mistakes I’ve done notoriously, i.e. I struggled much with understanding the roads and felt slightly anxious about it and yet he made it very clear and easy to me and built up my confidence along the way hence I managed to pass in my first try! No words are amazing enough to describe how fantastic I feel right now and Jay is your choice to pass the test with flying colours! NB. Fantastic experience: Had an incredible experience learning with instructor, Marina. She is just so calm, kind and patient. With every lesson, she remained focused on my goals and weaknesses I wanted to work on and made each lesson a positive and memorable experience. I had some great days and not so great days, but Marina was there every step of the way and never gave up on me. I could really feel myself progressing from being nervous on the road at the start, to becoming a confident, test-ready and safe driver. You have to put the work in though, don’t expect to come to a lesson with the assumption that the instructor is going to do all the work for you, it is not (all) their job! Lessons were affordable and I was able to take them when it best suited my busy work schedule, which was just great. On the lessons leading up to my test date, my instructor made me feel so calm and outlined everything that I needed to know to pass the test, including some time to brush up on some manoeuvres and little details I felt I needed to work on. I passed first time with only 4 minors, some of which were down to nerves, but I couldn’t have done it without Jay’s amazing team! Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: Being an anxious and panicky individual, driving didn’t come easy to me. Through Jays driving schools amazing instructor I was kept calm and confident through all of my lessons.
