Fantastic experience: On Monday, August 5th, I started my learning process and prepared for the driving test. On the first day, I trained for reverse exercise. Mike, the Viamaster instructor, introduced me to the truck, showed me all the controls, did a daily round check, and explained the reversing part. I have jumped straight in and started practicing. I have managed to do it on the first attempt! I had a go multiple times, and then Andy, another Viamaster instructor, came and tested me. I have passed and didn't even come out of the truck to make sure I was in the bay with the back of the truck. I was confident. The rest of the day we have spent on the road, Mike drove first and explained everything in detail. Then I jumped in and went for the first time on the road. It was a lot to take in at first, but I have managed to control the truck safely under Mike's supervision. The second day was a full day of learning and driving on the road with Andy. I'm going to start by saying how amazing Andy was. He gave me so much knowledge, experience, and confidence. He explained everything in detail; he pointed out and focused on the things I was doing wrong. Two main things I was most struggling with were junctions and roundabouts, parked cars, and hesitation. We have pulled in on the side of the road a few times and talked it through. Andy's knowledge and experience were key here for me to understand what I was doing wrong, and I have learnt from it. On the third day, the driving test day, I applied everything I learnt, and we had a 1.5-hour drive before the test. Before the test, I was stressed, and though I was really nervous on the test, I was wrong. It wasn't that bad at all, and I think my confidence and ability took over. At the end of the day, I was prepared, thanks to Andy. The test went really well. I passed and got only one minor for junctions—observation. 06/11/2024 update Another first time pass, this time C+E! Special thanks to Pete, an experienced, knowledgeable, and professional trainer. He is very good at pinpointing and focusing on things I was doing wrong but also very good at praising good driving. Without him, I would not have passed the first time! Highly recommended! Thanks to everyone involved at Viamaster. Pete, Andy, Mike, Scott, Steven, and Lizzi.

Fantastic experience: Passed my C2, never been in a truck until this week when I had 16 hr training split with Martin and Sam both are very knowledgeable and are excellent at showing / telling you what you need to be doing. All staff are really friendly and approachable couldn't have asked for anymore from them.

Fantastic experience: Just spent the last 3 days at Viamaster training for my C1! Scott was great at teaching me the reverse manoeuvre and then I spent the next two days with Sam on the road! Sam was an absolutely amazing instructor, full of humour which put me completely at ease and he managed to knock all the bad habits out of me that I’d learnt over the last 13 years driving. I flew through my test with only 1 minor, so so pleased! It was all down to Sam and his knowledge! Thank you again Sam!!!

Fantastic experience: I had my C1 training with Sam, he is an outstanding driving instructor really knowledgeable and down to earth. He'll not only tell you what you need to improve, he'll show you how to do it. We only had 12 hrs training and I've never driven anything close to the size of a 7m long van, and I got a pass which I'm really proud about and big thank you to Sam the man

Fantastic experience: Did my forklift instructor course here with Phil Hargreaves a couple of years back which was top quality, came back today for my pivot steer with Phil again and couldn't ask for a better tutor, knowledgeable, friendly and a really good laugh to make the course go as smooth as possible. My Main Instructor Was Archie Who was Very supportive, Knowledgeable with a Professional approach to Guiding me through the Training Coarse from the Start. However I was Struggling with a few Issues which were mainly lack of Focusing, and from the start Being Nervous, this is When Andy stepped in and helped me to address these issues, Andy built up my confidence and helped me stay Focused to Pass my Practical Test (thanks Andy your a Star). Fantastic experience: 10 Day Novice Instructor Training. I'm going to start with a massive thanks to Steve and his team for making myself and the other trainees so welcome. I personally was not looking forward to this course, having done this course over 10 years ago, the thought of lesson plans and power point presentation gave me sleepness nights. But from day 1 my thinking started to change. Steve's training techniques are second to none. In my opinion you will struggle to find a better instructor out there. Steve and his team built the confidence up on all of his trainees over the 10 days. And come the end of the course we all failed just kidding, it was a pass all round. The legends 100% record continues. Thank you to all at viamaster and best wishes to you all.

Fantastic experience: Did my training at castleford viamaster, with Phil as my trainer, immediately there was no pressure, I could chill out and have a laugh. However the high standard and completeness of the training was reassuring, so I always felt confident of passing with my trainer.

Fantastic experience: Dear to who is/are interested becoming a wearhouse driver/Lorry driver, I spent a week learning and and training in Class One HGV in December 2022 and another week doing forklift in February 2023. I passed both of the courses in a smooth and straight way. Viamaster did a perfect job and helped me to grain my licences and took good responsibility. My coach Richard (for Class One HGV) and Karl (for Forklift) are always calm whenever they are answering my questions and listen to me. Even with my deafness with implants. To me. Viamaster did brillant equal to 10/10. They do look after their customers and plans organiser. The environment of Viamaster is really the top of the class that everyone should go and learn to train any warehouse's and large size's vehicles in there. So clean in the area and plenty of good cups of hot chocolates. That's not all, a wonderful Lizzy who helped me with my bookings through emails and phone calls to make everything in sense of Viamaster's company. Once I passed, the full neat certificates and licence comes into my email and post in a good smooth time within three days. Really please about Viamaster. They are ace. Fantastic experience: Completed my class 1 training with Mark as my trainer. Very professional company, excellent experience. Mark was very knowledgeable, answered all questions, provided guidance to improve my driving and on test day knew exactly the final guidance I needed to be ready for my test. I travelled 200 miles to do this course and would be more than willing to travel again to carry out any additional training. Thank you Mark, Viamaster you have got a very good instructor there.
