Fantastic experience: Well what can I say, what a team they have at WS Sherburn. It all started a few months ago when I arrived for my CPC MOD 4 with Jenny. Jenny was absolutely fantastic and very specific with her detailed training. 3 months later I arrived back for my class 1 training with Paul. Paul was very welcoming and literally made me feel at ease from day 1. Everyday on the road this week has been so enjoyable with this guy. He has so much knowledge of the truck it's unreal. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy this course as much as I did. I didn't want my 4 hour lessons to end. Paul and Jenny you are amazing. Thank you so much for everything Nick

Fantastic experience: Have just passed my Lgv1 1st time with zero driving faults with Paul as my instructor - what can I say about Paul.....what a guy , the most honest and most professional instructor I've ever dealt with. Trains to the highest standard. The equipment you use is top class as well. Can't recommend these guys enough. Jenny was great who sorted everything from the admin side and helped massively when I had issues with my licence.

Fantastic experience: Where to start, firstly i just want to say a big thanks to Paul and Jenny for helping me smash my C+E exam. The training was nothing short of amazing and really helped me settle into the life of a truck driver, you gave expert advice and tips to make even the tightest of corners a breeze. Would highly recommend taking one of the longer courses (i did the 32 hour one) as this gave me an ample amount of time to get familiar with the truck and to get a proper grasp of its sheer size and how it manouvers. Cannot recommend WS Sherburns enough will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant from start to finish. Jenny does the training for the module 4 CPC and is brilliant at doing so. Practical training is done by Paul Sherburn who is an extremely good teacher with plenty of experience in the field. He is very good at assisting with all difficult aspects of driving an articulated lorry, as well as being constructive in his improvements for you. If I had to take my training again for whatever reason, I would go with Sherburn LGV 11/10 times.

Fantastic experience: An excellent training provider from the initial assessment drive, through the CPC Modules and the 3A and 3B tests. Paul is very knowledgeable and keen to pass on his wisdom and Jane makes everything tick along smoothly. They are both a credit to the brand and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a focused and tailored package when embarking on the career change.

Fantastic experience: Started my training with Ws last week. Was nervous to start with but after chatting with the crew I was put at ease pretty quick, Could not ask for any better training advice or direction. After 4 days of training with no previous experience I was ready for my test and unbelievably passed with only 1 minor. This would not be possible without the exceptional service they offer. Fantastic experience: If you need any training lgv wise This is the only place to be. I went from cat B to CE in 5 days passed first time with only 2 minors.. They are professional yet friendly welcoming and made the course fun and relaxing. I was doubting myself in a few areas at day 4 even but my instructor John confidently hammered it out of me and his actions are what allowed me to be sucsessfull on the practical test. Thank you to Paul who first assessed me and trained me on the 3a reverse and Jenny who trained me on the cpc mod 4.. Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to go and do driver training, the whole team are such a nice bunch of people who are friendly and helpful with such a passion in what they do as opposed to it just being a job for them, credit to Paul who gives you guidance in a calm manner and explains everything in full or a way you can understand it which helps massively, passed my cat c 1st time with one minor thanks guys would recommend to anybody.

Fantastic experience: I am a recently passed with this training company and I would highly recommend any day of the week. Owners Paul and Jenny are the most amazing 2 people I’ve met they have helped me endlessly and do anything they can to help you pass. John who was my Instructor Definitely pushed my potential and with that I managed to maintain a high standard in my driving and was able to pass my test. Fantastic experience: Sherburns LGV Training are fantastic, I had a great experience with them and they helped me pass my class 2 driving test in just four days when my confidence was pretty low after a rough start on day one. Fantastic experience: Can’t speak highly enough of John, Paul and co here. If you want to do your HGV this is the place to do it. I started off not even having sat in a HGV since being a kid and these guys go me through it. Took me through the thick and thin and was there by my side. They didn’t make me feel bad when I failed my reverse test the first time got me back to it asap and really pushed me so I could pass my on road test first time! Could go on forever but get yourself booked on with these guys you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I will start by saying thank you so much to this amazing team. I had an excellent experience and training at this company passing everything from my first time. With only 3 minor mistakes on my practical test, I can say that was professional team and training. I really recommend WS Sherburns for everyone. I needed just 6 days for the course. Everything was smooth, with no delays and BRAND NEW TRUCKS. I had a very bad experience with a different company in the past, and I almost didn't want to try again, but I decided to try again, and my luck was to find this great company. Fantastic experience: Recently been doing my HGV training with WS Sherburns, passed my class 2 today. The first day I walked through the door and spoke to Jenny and Paul I knew I had made the right choice they was so helpful and professional. Fantastic experience: Passed my Class 2 from start to finish with this company. They organized my medical, my theory lessons, theory tests, told me where I need to be and when and what I need to take with me - just absolute first class help! After that they showed me the options regarding how many hours of learner driving I'd like to do and offered an assessment drive to see how long I'd need to be at a point where I would pass, I was short on time off work however so I just went for 20 hours. The instructors were amazing. I was instructed by two Johns who both have tonnes of experience and genuinely want you to pass and will give you all the tools to do so! Jenny and Paul are also massive help if you have any issues. I managed to pass first time with no driving faults from never having driven a lorry Tuesday to passing Monday. I did pick up one fault on a show me tell me question however but that was just an error on my part. After that they helped me secure my CPC card by doing my mod 4 which I'm 90% sure I would have failed if I had gone anywhere else. If you have any thoughts about going for a HGV license I would 100% recommend this company!

Jenny was my first contact and she was helpful from the outset with clear guidance on the best route forward. All of my questions were answered clearly and quickly...and there were many of them! Fantastic experience: Well, where do I start? I stepped into a HGV for the first time since I was a kid riding along with my dad, I went for the C+E course through the government skills bootcamp and to say I felt out of my depth on day 1 is an understatement. Coming straight from a car the size difference and speed really takes you back, but it's not long before you get used to the vehicle and start to build that confidence with driving on the public roads. Absolute credit here goes to Cliff who was a pleasure to be around, we had a good laugh but more importantly he created what felt like a safe space to be able to make mistakes and learn from them, the sessions were just long enough (~4 hours) to get a good amount of driving in but also not burn yourself out, it gave me time to digest what had happened and how I could improve the next day, with each day becoming a little more challenging in nature to really build that confidence up ready for my practical test. Special mention to John as well who got me through my reversing and coupling/uncoupling training too, very effective in what he does. John also was my trainer on the day of my practical driving exam and he did a great job of settling my nerves and prepping me for the big day, thank you again. The trucks themselves are fantastic, very clean and well maintained as well as being near-new so you have all the modern attachments with them. All in all a fantastic experience from start to finish, really cannot fault the process at all. My advice to anyone going for their C+E straight from a car, or even from a C, and that's to put your homework in. You really need to put in maximum effort to get the result you want out of it 1st time. Whilst I had an incredibly fun time, I really put in the effort to go over hotspots on google maps in my own time, familiarising myself with safety procedures and making sure that I had everything nailed down. Put in the effort and you'll pass. Best of luck to everyone in the future, you can put your trust and money in this company to get you there 100%. Thank you again to everyone involved.

Fantastic experience: Have recently completed C+E training with Cliff as the instructor, who was very knowledgible and patient in the way he taught. The company uses new Scania lorries for the training which are very well kept and maintained. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn.

I have just passed my Category C+E today with no prior HGV experience. From the start until the end ( 2 weeks ), the whole process was such an amazing experience, pleasant and rewarding. Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience here a doing my class 1 training a couple of weeks ago with Cliff, who helped me get rid of a few bad habits I'd picked up driving buses and pass the test on the first attempt. The artic used is definitely a bonus as you're driving a well specced, nearly new unit with a full size 3 axle trailer. I'd definitely recommend Sherburns to anyone looking to do HGV training in the area.

Fantastic experience: Training with WS Sherburns has been a fantastic experience. I have recently passed my CAT C+E with them and could not ask for a better bunch of people to train with. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and work with you to make sure you are absorbing information at your own pace. Coaching you through the good and the bad to ultimately get you that pass. •The vehicles they have are modern, clean and have the latest tech. •The staff and instructors are friendly and welcoming. •Starting training was quick and easy. Fantastic experience: Sunday night, I’d never driven a class 1 (c+e) by Wednesday I’ve passed my test! Jon was amazing, his instructions really stuck with me, I was totally prepared for that test, nothing the examiner wanted me to do I hadn’t already done with Jon! Can’t recommend theses guys enough. Fantastic experience: Just passed my CPC module 4 Markham vale- test centre. The training l got from Cliff was absolute brilliant, took me through step by step on the actions required in different actual scenarios in preparation for my test. A very knowledgeable, patient and re-assuring individual. He dedicated enough time to make sure l was comfortable and happy with my practices. The care to his students was top notch. Likewise the examiner Paul was very calm, gave enough time to think through my answers and demonstrations. He made test environment relaxed and feel at home for me. Fantastic experience: I would just like to l drop a note to mention what top quality, professional outfit WS SHERBURNS really are. Booked in this week Mon to Friday 4 hrs a day to include parts 3a & 3b thinking I would be all passed out ? To then realise I needed my Module 4 to complete ( my error - thought I had got it done ) These guys found me a slot Tuesday afternoon in which I passed the Mod 4 with not only the 80% required but with flying colours of 100% pass thanks to Ben & Jenny learning me the essentials Tues morning part 3a - reversing- helped through by Cliff ( top top bloke to train with ) to again pass with absolutely no problem Then on to start learning the roads for my part B test ( the big one ) To be fair I was over confident & got a reality check ( noticed quickly by Cliff ) made me knuckle down & right up to end of Thursday was still driving a tad to quick !!!! ( take your time ) this morning before test went excellent except for a very tight left hand turn of wich Cliff said “shall we have another go “ Brilliant Better this time but not perfect ! Then on up to test All went amazing passed with 98% - only 2 silly silly minors PERFECT- Team WS Sherburns Can’t praise you guys highly enough. FANTASTIC PS - sorry for droning on but “ABSOLUTELY EXTATIC” To say the least Thank you for your time, patience & effort Andy

The company is ran by a lovely couple and team who made me feel welcome from start to finish and gave me all the information I needed before my practical. Fantastic experience: Couldn't pass my HGV DRIVING TEST for 4x times, after I decided to change the driving school and that was the best decision, I applied for WS Sherburns training course and Instructor Ben and Paul corrected my driving mistakes and I PASSED!!!!
