Fantastic experience: I took the Intensive 15-hour driving course with Chilled Driving Tuition, and it was an incredible experience. My instructor, Paul, was amazing from the start. Within the first hour, he pinpointed my areas for improvement and worked with me to address them. His instructions were always clear and easy to understand, and his patience and encouragement helped me feel confident behind the wheel. Paul also challenged me with tricky tasks and provided on-the-spot corrections, which made me feel well-prepared for real-world driving scenarios. I’d also like to thank Shaun for the mock test, which helped me fine-tune my skills further and boosted my readiness for the driving test. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Chilled Driving Tuition. I highly recommend them, especially Paul, for anyone looking to become a confident and capable driver.

Fantastic experience: I had Sam as my instructor and passed first time after just 30 hours of lessons, starting as a complete beginner. Chilled may be one of the pricier options in Norwich, but it’s easy to see why. The lessons were taught in the latest cars, and Sam was incredibly professional, patient, and always on time. He made sure every aspect of driving was thoroughly covered, pushing me to improve without ever going beyond my limits. I left every lesson feeling like I had learnt something new. I had a mock test with another instructor from Chilled, who was of the same high standard, which gave me extra confidence for the real test. Thanks to Sam’s calm and encouraging teaching style, I actually looked forward to my lessons instead of dreading them. He also ensured I was taught every route I needed and I was provided with a logbook, which was really helpful in keeping track of my progress and things to improve. Sam was always available to answer any questions I had outside of lesson time, and he was very accommodating when it came to rescheduling lessons. I couldn’t recommend Sam or Chilled more highly for anyone serious about learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend the team at Chilled enough! Everything from booking my intensive course right through to finding me a new test date when my test got cancelled was a smooth process with great communication. In particular, a huge thanks to my instructor Paul - thanks to him I passed first time with zero faults! Not only was be incredibly patient and explained everything well but he was also really supportive and was quick to reassure me whenever my confidence wobbled.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with both Simon and Adrian, and I can’t thank them enough for helping me achieve a pass. From the very first lesson, they made me feel incredibly relaxed and calm, which was no small feat as I started out as a very nervous driver. Thanks to their patience and encouragement, I’m now much more confident behind the wheel! Both Simon and Adrian were exceptionally tolerant and tailored each lesson to suit my learning style, focusing on areas where I needed extra support. Even when I made some challenging or slightly dangerous mistakes, they stayed calm, helped me fix the situation, and reassured me, which made a huge difference to my progress. Thank you both for such a positive journey—I can’t recommend the Chilled instructors enough! Wishing you both all the best. That said, I do think it’s worth mentioning that my experience was slightly dampened by the admin team, as I found them unhelpful at times, especially after my test was cancelled.

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test today after an automatic intensive course with both Steve M and Paul. Both Steve and Paul were very patient and gave amazing guidance during my lessons. Before I stared the intensive I did not like driving but I now look forward to being behind the wheel and I feel very confident in my skills. Fantastic experience: It was really great to learn to drive with Chilled. I learned automatic driving through a combination of weekly lessons and an intensive course at the end. My instructor (Paul H.) was kind, patient and supportive throughout, and helped me to pass my test with only three minor faults. The admin team were always helpful and quick to respond. Overall, I would highly recommend this driving school, especially for initially nervous drivers such as myself.

Fantastic experience: First of all a big thank you to Paul at chilled driving! Fantastic instructor, highly knowledgeable and always made me feel relaxed and confident throughout each lesson. I highly recommend Chilled to any person looking to take lessons or the intensive courses soon, the whole team are so supportive, and always happy to help. I undertook the 4 day intensive in automatic, and absolutely loved it! As well as enjoying the driving experience with Paul as my instructor it was a joy to drive such a lovely car (Audi A3 S-line if I remember correctly). As of today I have successfully passed my driving test with 0 minors all thanks to Paul and the chilled team. I shall certainly miss driving that Audi. 10/10 recommend, thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I started learning to drive with Chilled Driving Tuition in February, and my experience with them has been fantastic. My first instructor was Shaun Catchpole, who really helped me build my confidence in the car. Shaun has a friendly and approachable style, but he’s also brutally honest when needed, always pointing out mistakes in a way that pushes you to improve. His guidance made me feel comfortable, but he made sure I knew when I went wrong, which was key to helping me get better. Later, I switched to Will Montgomerie because I needed someone who could give me more time to really focus on the areas I needed to improve before my test. Will is probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He created a safe environment where I never felt ashamed for making mistakes. Instead, he helped me find ways to avoid those mistakes in the future. Will’s encouragement and approach helped me feel much more confident in my abilities and made the entire learning experience stress-free. Overall, both Shaun and Will are incredible instructors, and I truly believe I wouldn’t have passed my test—let alone on the first try—without them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: I can’t think of anyone better than Will M. I have just passed my driving test after an intensive with Will, having had no previous experience. Each lesson brought new success and the learning environment always felt ‘chilled’ and I feel Will has taught me how to drive not just how to pass a test. If you’re looking for someone with road experience, who is chatty and fun whilst getting the job done, Will is your guy. He clearly knows his job very well, can answer all questions, gives excellent demonstrations should you have a tricky area, is perfect for those who feel pressure easily as he is so calm, can teach a marvellous parallel park, and is brilliant at knowing when you need a break. I left each lesson feeling like I’d improved and felt excited for the next. Even though he has taught me very well and I’m a confident driver, I’m definitely going to miss my lessons. Thank you Will for your hard work and patience.

Fantastic experience: I did a Chilled 6 day intensive course and was very pleased with the service I received. Chilled were incredibly helpful when my original instructor suffered severe illness close to my start date. The admin team were able to resolve the issue within hours, at no inconvenience. Karen was an excellent driving instructor, who made lessons very engaging and informative. She was very calm throughout and explained things clearly. I’m incredibly grateful for her guidance. Chilled also arranged a mock test for me which prepared me for the pressures of test day. My test was also booked very close to my course, which was beneficial. I could not recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Will M at Chilled Driving Tuition has been absolutely amazing. In just a week he had taken me from a complete beginner (barely able to get out of second gear) to confidently driving on any road, including dual carriageways. Within a month of starting the intensive course I passed my driving test first time. His calm and supportive manner inspired confidence, creating an environment where I felt safe to step out of my comfort zone and not be afraid to make mistakes. He was also very perceptive about when I was getting tired and needed a break, and always focused on the positives in my progress rather than dwelling on the errors I had made. I really enjoyed our time together, and I would 100% recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Liam has taught my son on the intensive course for the last 4 weeks and today he passed with 3 minors! I cannot recommend Liam (Chilled Tution) more highly. He has been patient with Josh and accommodating with the lessons themselves. The level of confidence and capability you have installed in my son is unbelievable and we can't thank you enough. I would 100% recommend Liam for your driving tuition.... he is already booked for my other son!!

Fantastic experience: **Outstanding Driving Lessons with DANNY MEIER Chilled Driving School** I decided to try automatic lessons with Chilled Driving School. This turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. They assigned me to Danny, an amazing instructor who truly understood the significance of obtaining a driver’s license for me. Danny was incredibly perceptive about my mental state and knew exactly when it was becoming an obstacle. With his unwavering support and guidance, he taught me how to overcome my anxieties and trust both him and the process. He once told me, "I will get you passed," and although I didn’t believe him at first, he proved me wrong. I passed with flying colors, thanks to his exceptional teaching. I cannot recommend Danny and Chilled Driving School enough. Thank you for helping me achieve this important goal!

Positive experience: Mixed review im afraid.. My son paid over £2000 for an intensive 2 week course. He booked well in advance. He completed his theory test as instructed, and called the office the week before to let them know. First day..his instructor said my son needed to book his theory in, so they weren't able to secure him a driving test. My son explained he had passed his theory and had notified the office. This delayed my sons driving test. My son only gets 2 weeks leave from his work place and used all of his leave to do the course. His intensive course at times included lessons for 2 hrs some days. Not what we thought an intensive course would look like. All of his planned lessons had changed from the inital blooking. Had this been communicated, he could have still gone into work some days and not wasted his leave. My son really enjoyed his Instructors teaching and quickly gained confidence. Sadly he failed his driving test. He was told afterwards by his instructor that he would be emailed next steps that evening. He was under the impression he wouldn't need anymore lessons if he were lucky enough to get a further test short notice. We waited a week and I called the office to enquire about next steps as we hadn't heard. I was advised that my son could be offered more lessons in approx 6 weeks time! I queried this and relayed what my son had been told by his instructor. I was advised that after discussing with the instructor, my son needed an extra 5 hrs learning, plus test day. This was an additional £400 on top of the £2000 already paid. I was unhappy that my son couldn't be offered lessons for another 6 weeks. It seemed to defeat the object of an intensive course. The wait would stall his progress and momentum. I was told there weren't the instructors or cars to do sooner. I complained I didn't think this was good enough, to be asked "what do you think we should do?" Again complaining that I didn't think this was fair or good enough, to be told "perhaps we should part company!?" Appalling customer service and communications poor. We've since found an independent instructor and feel more confident in their service. Also helps it's way cheaper than Chilled! So overall great instructor (thankyou), appalling customer services. Im never one to complain and have never written a poor review before. Just feel so gutted for my son wasting soo much of his savings and leave.

Negative experience: The worst experience I have ever had and please avoid this driving school if you don’t want to be cheated. The chilled driving school just act as a middleman and don’t take any accountability if the driver cancel on you ( after taking payments). I waited for 5 months to get a driver assigned for automatic car driving lessons. Then I was assigned with Adam Morgan. I previously got my license from the USA and was expecting only refresh classes. He prolonged the classes with minimum progress and in total I spend around £1500 for the classes. When it was around the time to give my driving test, Adam blocked me and I was unable to reach him. When I called chilled driving school to get some help, Alex the manager was extremely rude and pretty much said it’s my own problem and go to consumer court. He dint disclose any information about the driver or any sort of help on what to do. He just mentioned it’s there in terms and conditions. Partially it was my mistake as I dint notice the payments were done to driving instructors bank account and I never got any payment confirmation receipt. The only proof I have is bank transfer. I am deeply disappointed and feel cheated. I don’t think this driving school does any background check of their instructors and once you connected with the instructor and they don’t respond after receiving payments, chilled driving school give no support and in fact talk extremely rude. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be spam. I hope my this review save others from not going through similar horrible experience. Save yours else and don’t get cheated.

Fantastic experience: I recently got some refresher driving lessons with chilled after having not driven for about 15 years. I was paired up with Will and my lessons with him have been really great to help me get my eye back in to driving. Before I took these lessons I was a bit nervous, but Will has helped bring my confidence back up and helped me pick back up all the right skills and habits for driving a car. The lessons I’ve had have been really fun and relaxed, and have definitely put me much more at ease being on the roads. Thanks so much Will!

Fantastic experience: Every aspect of chilled driving has been top notch. From initial booking, to securing a test. I was a complete novice when I began my intensive course 4 days ago. With the help of Will I have managed to gain the confidence and skills needed to feel safe and in control on the road. Will has surpassed my expectations! His HUGE wealth of knowledge and ability to translate that into an easy to digest fun lesson has made the last few days not only effective but enjoyable! Will has suck a lovely demeanor and really puts you at easy, even in higher pressure situations. He is a credit to chilled! I will honestly miss spending time with him when my lessons come to an end! Fantastic experience: Simon my instructor is patient to a fault and extremely constructive in every bit of feedback in every lesson. We got straight on with progressing and I felt I was always driving in a way that pushed my abilities. Clearly this is an excellent way to make progress fast and the results speak for themselves; I passed with their 45 hour intensive course first try! The approach that he took to my learning was both respectful and adaptive; we found my limits, stretched them and pushed through to consistent and reliable performance under pressure. This feels like it has been the ideal two-week course for me and I'm sure Simon's adaptability and insistence for excellence would infect anyone who chose Chilled as their driving school!

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars, I would. Chilled really messed with me. TLDR: They will MILK you for money and treat you with disrespect. For starters, I was "passed" around between 3 instructors. The transition was poorly handled as I had to wait between 3-7 weeks to be on the road again, completely hampering my learning progress. Second, lessons were cancelled on the last minute and rescheduled without my knowledge. I wasn't compensated for this. This was also a regular occurrence during my time with Chilled. Third, I was deemed inadequate to be on the road even after being with them for more than a year. I spent more than £4,000 with them and yet they wanted me to do several months. This was not an issue with my driving because as soon as I swapped driving instructor and school, I was able to address many concern within 5 weeks. Fourth, the instructor I had (the first 2 were ok, but the last one). He was an extremely horrible person. Kevin was unbearable. He made me the lessons dreary and made snide remarks about inappropriate things - such as immigration. He even said that "You've been learning for a year. Why the f are you taking forever to learn? Someone of your academic background shouldn't struggle this much". Needless to say, I left. All in all, poor experience. Avoid if you don't want to get milked.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Chilled Driving! My excellent instructor, Shaun, enabled me, and my husband too, to pass the test for the first time with Chilled Driving, despite our confidence knocked by failing previously with other companies. Shaun was brilliant at explaining things in advance, alerting me to what I could improve on but at the same time noticing what I'd done well at which meant every lesson ended positively. I thought the mock test was really helpful as it replicated the test situation as it was with a different Chilled Driving Instructor. Shaun picked up on the Mock Test feedback in my last few lessons to practice aspects of driving that I needed to work on, which was invaluable. After doubting I was ready for my test and suffering from nerves, Shaun's faith in me made all the difference and the test went really well! (only 4 minor faults) Thanks Shaun and Chilled Driving!

Fantastic experience: I was probably one of the most anxious driver candidates. However, Steve Murphy, the instructor from Chilled Driving, did an immaculate job with me. He helped me immensely to take it easy and feel confident behind the wheel. His patience and expertise made all the difference, and I can't recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: Chilled have been absolutely brilliant. I did a 25 hour intensive course with them and I found the admin team to be supportive and helpful. All of my queries were handled very quickly and it was easy to book. The Audi I drove was a great car to learn in. Steve B was a fantastic instructor - he allowed me to take the lead with what I wanted to cover and we got through the content both thoroughly and efficiently. He was very encouraging, great company and communicated with me really well. Driving is expensive but if you are looking for a good value course with professional staff and reliable instructors, then I would recommend Chilled. The course includes a very realistic mock test which sets you up perfectly for the real thing. The team support you in booking extra tuition as needed but are extremely fair with this. I am so glad I booked with Chilled!

Fantastic experience: I finally passed my driving test yesterday after a very bumpy road over the last few years of failing tests, changing instructors, losing my confidence and feeling incredibly deflated. After my first lesson with Sam at Chilled, something felt different this time. His patience, kindness, reassurance and teaching skills are phenomenal and I genuinely could not have asked to have been allocated a better driving instructor. I stopped imagining passing my driving test as it did not seem like a possibility, but the closer my test approached, with Sam's constant reassurance and believing in me, it started to feel like a real possibility. Nerves on previous test day's were uncontrollable, but after completing my mock test with Lisa, again this aspect of the test felt different. She made me feel calm, made me believe in myself and trust that I CAN DO THIS, as Sam did! I will be recommending Sam personally to anyone that is looking to start lessons as he WILL get you that pass! I really cannot thank Sam enough for getting me through this journey, I am certain it would not have been possible without his guidance and reassurance. Thank you Sam and Lisa for getting me to the end of this journey. You have really changed my life and opened so many doors for me (personally and professionally) on gaining my driving licence. Thank you doesn't cut how grateful I am, but THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: My personal instructor Sam was the best instructor I could’ve hoped for. Their teaching style really lives up to the name making driving a lot less stressful. Sam was also very accommodating with helping fit me in for short notice tests which was what ultimately helped me get that pass. Overall not much more you could ask for from a driving school.

Fantastic experience: Chilled young drivers experience is an excellent way to introduce a young person to driving . Our 15yr old daughter absolutely loved it and Dan (Smithson) was very calm in his approach and relaxed Keeley to build her confidence with clutch control . Once the confidence was set , it was time to take it to the rally extreme and let her have the need for speed ! Thanks to all at chilled and a special thanks to Dan for making it an unbelievable driving experience for our daughter .

Fantastic experience: A truly exceptional driving school with a wonderful team, from admin to instructors. I had the pleasure of learning with Darren, who was the best instructor I could have possibly asked for. Incredibly patient, calm and professional in all aspects. He instilled the confidence I needed to pass first time and I could not be more thankful. A massive thank you to Alan as well who went above and beyond to get me to test. Negative experience: Appalled at the scenes I’ve just witnessed at Thorpe Rec. One learner car almost running over a poor woman and her dog due to lack of attention from both instructor and student (Best Intensive) the woman obviously cried out to which the instructor shouted aggressively out his window and got out the threatening her… But to see this man at chilled join in and too to aggressively intimidate the woman, the pair of them threatening to kill her dog made me sick. These are the types of people you have entrusted to teach people to drive and this is how they behave? In the right mind to report both to the police. Vile. The woman did nothing wrong but was ganged go on by 2 aggressive bullies. Chilled has definitely gone down hill… I would have recommended chilled to anyone before but not now. How disappointing. Fantastic experience: Fanstic experience learning with Karen from Chilled Driving, passed on my first attempt with only 2 minors! Would definitely recommend, especially for learners of a more anxious disposition, as she has a very relaxed and supportive teaching style that makes it very easy to build confidence when driving.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Steve B he helped me a lot and was very patient as id never drove before I felt very relaxed and in control of the vehicle I was driving and overall had an excellent experience and definitely look forward too visiting again in June. I revisited in June and again no complaints I worked with Sam instead I was completely calm and in control. Only a few hiccups on my parts but I was able to learn from my mistake. Honestly can't wait to go again in September!

Fantastic experience: Young Driver Premium Experience with Shaun P. My 2 teenagers 14 and 16 absolutely loved this experience , their first time Driving a car and Shaun made the experience memorable for them. They both had big smiles and it really gave them a good flavour of what it was like to be behind the wheel! They loved it so much we have booked for them again and the end of the year

Fantastic experience: The chilled driving services were really great! I’ve had a lovely and patient Instructor(Liam) which help me restore my confidence and give me a good experience in driving. I felt that the whole thing was great ! In the end, with help from Liam, I passed my driving test with 0 faults.

Negative experience: My experience getting tuition with Chilled Driving Tuition was poor, and I think justifies the following review. I had been receiving weekly lessons after work on a weekday with Chilled Driving, as booking weekend lessons with with this driving school was a challenge. My first tutor went over the basics with me, but around about a month into our lessons, he called me to inform me that he was transferring me to a different tutor. This was quite out of the blue, and as you can imagine, quite disruptive to the learning process. I carried on with the driving school though, as I had already sunk quite a few hours and a fair amount of money in already. I was passed on to a second tutor, a seasoned driving tutor in the school who definitely embodied what it means to be a "chilled" driving instructor. He comes across very mild-mannered, and quite approachable, which initially made me feel comfortable, and I first thought that it was going to be a good fit moving forward. As the weeks and months went on, however, I became concerned that my tutor seemed very reluctant to discuss a plan around what I needed to do to become test ready. I was very happy to accept any constructive feedback and criticism around my driving, that was the reason I was there, but I felt that he was reluctant, and closed me down time and time again when I tried to approach him for an answer. I wanted to know what I needed to work on most, what areas we needed to start focusing in on to speed up my learning and to make me feel like we were moving towards becoming test ready. At times with my tutor it felt like drawing blood from a stone, and he would regularly take simple questions like "what specific areas do I need to focus on?" and give very drawn out and confusing answers, he rarely came to our lessons with a plan, and we inevitably ended up doing the same carbon-copy lessons over and over again which was frustrating. At times it felt like I was being dragged along with no end in sight, just being expected to produce more money to do the same things lesson after lesson. And as I became more confident with my driving, this became more frustrating. Of course, at this stage, you want the driving to school to feel like they are taking some responsibility in helping you to hone the final few skills needed to become test ready. I felt like I was doing all of the approach and question asking and general pushing for this to happen. At one stage my tutor even said that he didn't think I could be test ready due to the time of the day I was taking my lessons (after five pm), because I didn't have enough experience driving in the daytime. I was pretty dumbfounded by this, and if this was problem, when was he going to tell me himself? Why did I have to be the one to coax this response out of him? I was willing to adapt and change when/where I needed to take lessons, if this was something that my tutor thought was necessary, but I can't believe my tutor wasn't more forthcoming about this if it genuinely was a problem. He never took this initiative and it never felt like he was invested in my learning. I unfortunately failed my first attempt at the test by a marginal error, but after that my tutor completely shut down, saying that he was swamped with intensive driving students, and couldn't book me in for more lessons leading on to a test for almost two months which I thought was a terrible way to treat a long-standing pupil. Chilled Driving School honestly made me feel like a bit of a second-class citizen compared to the intensive driving students. I sunk a lot of money in to their service, but never felt like they really valued my custom. I ended my time with the school then and there, and heard nothing more from my tutor or the school about how I was progressing. I ended up doing a few practice sessions with a family member and a few friends, booking in to a test independently, and passed soon afterwards. I only wish I had stopped taking lessons with Chilled Driving School sooner, I would have saved a lot of money, stress and time.

Fantastic experience: I just passed with chilled, I had Colin for an intensive course. He was excellent, great teacher and good quality conversation. Colin in particular was really good at fitting me into his schedule and helping me! Couldn’t reccomend him or chilled more.

Even when i was finding things hard and struggling, Luke was always super professional, helpful and just really nice. Brilliant school.

Fantastic experience: We chose Intensively Chilled for our daughter after our son had such a great experience with them six years ago (passed 1st time with 2 faults). Collin put her at ease right from the start and I was impressed with his communication. Driving lessons have changed a lot since I learnt and Collin not only talked to me about what to help her with when we were out practicing, but even invited me along on one of her lessons. This was a great experience as I was able to see how she was being taught and ask question as to how I can best support her learning. All in all a great experience and I do not hesitate in recommending both Chilled as a company and Collin as instructor. My daughter passed first time with zero faults.

Fantastic experience: Recently underwent an 40hr intensive course with Simon Dale @ Chilled as I needed my licence ASAP. Highly recommended, would've passed first time too but for a lapse of concentration on my part, passed second time with one minor and at 42 its testament to Simon's ability to teach old dogs new tricks

Fantastic experience: Danny is an amazing experienced driving instructor - would really recommend him! I passed my test at the first time within only 20 hours of lesson with him. He is always very supportive and encouraging throughout all the lessons, which really help to calm my nerves and help me to become a confident driver. He also really listens and notices what element of driving/maneuvers I was not confident at, so we could keep practicing and improving those elements in each lesson.

Fantastic experience: Really great driving tuition! Liam helped me be confident with driving and to pass my test first time, even though I didn't know a thing about driving when I started - I'd definitely recommend Chilled for anyone learning to drive including nervous beginners like I was!

Fantastic experience: I did an intensive course with Liam after failing my first test and he boosted my confidence so much that I was hardly nervous on my test...compared to my first one where I could hardly drive because I was shaking so much. I feel like I can drive safely and well now and it is enjoyable instead of daunting. Would highly recommend!!

Negative experience: Contacted the company and told them I would like to book a 40hrs chilled intensive auto course. I was given the price which cost a fortune. I paid and was ready for the lesson. It started off really well and I was doing better each and every day. I do have 5hrs practice everyday as I really want to get it sorted because of my job which I why I booked for the intensive course. After 33.5 hours of practice, my instructor was confident that I can go for the mock test. After completing the mock test, The other instructor told me I made some minor faults and a dangerous fault. I smiled and did not argue with the other instructor. I spoke with my instructor to arrange further lessons as I thought I still have some hours to practice more, then I was told I’m left with just an hour and 30mins. I was dumbfounded, I didn’t know what to say. I asked how? I was told the 30mins drive mock test I did was equivalent to a 5hours pay. OMG! Really! HOW? And I was advised to make further 5hrs payments to continue with my lesson which would be in March, when my lessons was for last year November. The company never reached out to me to discuss, or even give me some discount towards the further lessons. I went ahead to book my driving test myself and passed with only one minor fault. Thank you Shaun P. But the company showed no care nor concern.

Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed my time learning how to drive with Colin, he has been an incredible tutor. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Colin took time to get to know me, and my learning style to ensure my lessons were bespoke. I really believe that he is able to create the right atmosphere for every individual student. I feel so confident in my driving skills, and my family have noted on this newfound confidence too, and said they didn’t believe I could be such a competent driver! Colin has given me a skill for life (beyond just passing the driving test) and I am ever so thankful. I would recommend Chilled - and most of all Colin - to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Under Colin’s instruction, my daughter Lydia has changed from what her previous instructor (not with Chilled) had described as someone who ‘would never learn to drive’ into a competent driver with her full license! Colin worked out Lydia’s learning style and tailored his instruction to that, this worked a charm. Thank you Colin!

Negative experience: MAKE SURE YOU READ CAREFULLY THE TERM AND CONDITIONS BEFORE SIGNING. DONT BOOK WITH THEM IF YOU ARE NOT LIVING IN NORWICH, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. If you don’t finish 10hrs, you instructor won’t get paid. If you don’t finish within a time frame you will loose your money. I lost about £100. There are a lot of plot holes you can fall in and you can lose your money easily. THEY WONT REMIND YOU. Their prices change depend on who answer your phone. The first person quote £44/hrs- £400/10hrs, the second one said £350/10hrs . atm I have a local instructor with £32/hrs. You can find them on local group, ask for recommendations. As you can only book 1.5hrs each lesson you will be left with 30’ hanging and if you want to book back in, they will make you do 10hrs block again. And they will try to tell you it’s for your best interest. So unless you live in central Norwich and have lots of free time and money, don’t bother with this company. It’s any thing but Chilled. And thanks for the reply, that was my experience, instead of saying sorry for my bad experience you have always finding excuses for everything you do and you don’t care about your clients as I have read all of the bad reviews reply. The way you talk on your messages or replies are just so arrogant, I paid the money for your service, not begging for it. Don’t think everyone are fools. Good luck.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Chilled Driving Tuition and my instructor Liam, I passed my manual driving test today, first time. Liam has been excellent throughout the learning process over the past 6 months, he understands how to adapt to suit a learner's level of confidence and when to push them. Prices are very fair too. I'll be recommending Liam and Chilled Driving for anyone I know who is looking for an instructor.

Positive experience: My experience was rather average- Reception were great when I booked with chilled and I got a slot promptly. I have been with them for 2 years, doing weekly lessons. My instructor was nice, she remained calm throughout and I enjoyed our conversations. I appreciate that she did teach me how to drive, but she definitely did not put enough time into preparing me for my test. I often had to prompt her to go through things I had seen online, that I needed to know for my test. The test itself was booked through the instructor, however it was not the date and time that was agreed. Two months prior to my test, we agreed to a specific time and date and I had assumed it was booked there and then, as she didn't state otherwise. About 10 days before my test she suggested that she forward the emails with the test details, I then came to realise that it was not the date and time we had arranged. Not only that, she had not booked it 2 months in advance like I thought, she'd actually only booked it 10 days prior to the date. If she had not forwarded the emails over, I would have arrived at the test center on the wrong date and time. I decided to do the test in my own car, and failed the first test. When I told her the news, she did not have much to say and did not suggest perhaps seeing her for more lessons. I did not contact the company to complain and I am not looking for a resolution, this is merely my own experience. I choose to not name the Instructor, because she was not bad, just a bit inconsistent and maybe forgetful. Thankfully I passed second time and I decided to not ask for anymore of her time between my first and second test.

Fantastic experience: I learned auto with Danny, and I honestly can't recommend him highly enough! I was nervous at the thought of having an instructor but he put me so at ease; honestly a lot of the time I felt like I was just driving around with a friend! He gave me far more confidence than I expected and didn't just put up with me being a perfectionist, but helped me use it to my advantage. Thank you so much Danny!

Fantastic experience: Chilled have been superb, and I cannot thank them enough for everything! I had an assessment lesson with Charles, he recommended the hours he thought I'd need, I was happy with his suggestion and wanted to book with Chilled as I felt confident they would be able to offer me a great service- I wasn't wrong! Chilled booked me for a semi-intensive course working around my schedule, which was extremely helpful. I had my lessons with Sam, I genuinely can't thank him enough. He's patient, knowledgeable, helpful and a proper credit to Chilled! I suffer from anxiety, Sam gave me information and guidance to help me with my nerves, he took me "out of my comfort zone", to where he knew my ability was, and we did a few hours driving in the busier parts of the city, which I felt extremely beneficial. Fantastic experience: Our son needed a very specific instructor to get the best out of him and Sam was just that person. Chilled matched him with Sam. He has grown in confidence with his driving. Sam has been professional, fun and relaxed with him. We were delighted that he pasted first time and this is down to the excellent tutoring by Sam.

Fantastic experience: Chilled were fantastic throughout my lessons. They were able to work around my bi-weekly schedule and were always happy to help if I had any questions or queries. Danny, was my instructor and he was such an amazing teacher. Honestly, the best teacher I have ever had. I had never driven a car before and I was very nervous during my first lesson, but by thirty minutes in, that nervousness had majorly reduced. Danny was very patient and never got frustrated. Through his tutelage, I was able to pass first time, something I never thought would happen. Fantastic experience: What can I say? Due to various circumstances, I actually got to have three different instructors from Chilled, and actually benefited from being exposed to slightly different styles of teaching. Tara, my first instructor, taught me the basics and showed me driving wasn't as scary as I thought it might be; Shaun C, my second, taught me the importance of taking things slow; and Danny M, my third and final instructor, gave me some absolutely golden tips that finally unlocked all the things that I still found challenging. Danny also really helped me build up my confidence. I'm especially grateful to him for getting me all the way to the test knowing that I could pass. And I did! I felt a little moved when we said goodbye--I think I might actually miss our lessons!

Fantastic experience: Booked an off-road experience for my 14 year old and I was genuinely surprised at how good it was. Sam was an amazing instructor put my daughter at ease and had her driving around with so much confidence. A full hour of driving and tuition as well, totally exceeded my expectations of the day. Fantastic experience: I passed my test first time today with Sam Nichol as my driving instructor. Sam is a brilliant instructor, who was always calm and patient when I made mistakes. He explained my mistakes and helped me to correct them and to find solutions. At the beginning of the learning process I was nervous and anxious, but Sam helped to build my confidence, and has taught me to be a safe driver. Fantastic experience: I completed a 45 hour intensive driving course with Chilled Driving Tuition and passed the practical test on my first try. I highly recommend it. My instructor Sam Nichol was OUTSTANDING! He’s extremely knowledgeable about driving, but also has a gift for teaching in a patient and friendly way and giving clear feedback that’s easy to implement. In a word, a professional. It was a joy working with him and in each lesson it was obvious just how deeply he cared about my progress to achieve my goal of passing. Fantastic experience: Booked and completed a 30 hour intensive course with Sam, who I can honestly say provided possibly the best teaching I've ever received in any subject. I went in with about 15 hours of lessons 6 years ago, some independent driving, and a massive chunk of anxiety. The course was perfectly pitched for my skill level, thanks in large part to how observant Sam was about my strengths and weaknesses, and I felt supported and listened to throughout the entire course. Great communication from everyone involved as some dates had to be moved about slightly, which I was informed about in plenty of time. The practical test was booked for me as a part of the course which saved me a massive headache, and I managed to pass first time! I cannot recommend them more, I've had such a great experience.

Fantastic experience: it was a really laid back and easy time with chilled driving school, applying was simple and learning with my instructor sam was very educational as well as fun because he’s a really great guy who stays calm no matter the situation, which always put my nerves at ease. he was really cool to learn from and always took me back to try something again if I got it wrong. i’m also speechless that I passed but it just goes to show how much I leaned from sam and chilled on my intensive course. thanks so much and i’ll definitely recommend to others.

Liam built my confidence and made me realise that I can drive, his expertise and patience further build my confidence. He constantly pushed me and encouraged me.
